Louie, I don’t want to believe you’re gone. I guess you were a person who gave me comfort just in knowing you were out there in this world. But I know your energy is too great to leave us completely. I am honored I had the opportunity to share with you the incredible experience that was Baskets. What a joy it was to watch the joy you had in bringing Christine Baskets to life. And what a pleasure to come to work with you every day, observing your talent and absorbing your gentle kindness. You made us laugh and just as willingly would hold us when we needed a cry. Laughing and crying, two incredible parts of being human and you always made it safe to do both. You were vulnerable and shared your truth and let us share ours. You brought us Arby’s and shared your Emmy and gave at least 11 hugs a day. You made sure to spread your love to each and every one of us and bind us as a family. We were so proud of you and you were the best proud mama we could have. We grew together and I promise your humor, compassion, strength and vulnerability will live on in my life and all the lives you’ve touched. Thank you Louie. I Love You.
Voted! We made it a special evening as it is something to be celebrated. Hopefully we will be celebrating more soon with renewed hope for the future. Get those Ballots in!!

I know that the anticipation of whether I completed my puzzle or not may have added to some of your general quarantine anxiety. But the weather has unfortunately been too nice for puzzles. You will be happy to know however I did complete it! But you may be sad to know it was missing one piece. Nothing is perfect and it’s ok. Happy almost May fellow Quarantiners!
