The things that truly make me smile, Not perfection. Not fancy poses.Just people showing up, breathing deeply, disconnecting from the noise, and connecting back to themselves.
Thank you for supporting my classes, sharing my page, and bringing your energy into the room every week. It means a great deal to me! đ§
When only one student shows up to your yoga class, it can feel a little awkward if youâre not sure how to address it.
A simple way to handle it is to reframe it in a positive way.
You could say something like:
âLooks like youâve got the class to yourself today.â
âSo youâre basically getting the one to one experience for the price of a group class.â
This immediately changes the tone.
Instead of feeling like theyâre the only one who came, it feels like theyâve landed something special.
You can then add:
âSince itâs just you, we can adjust the practice if thereâs anything your body needs today.â
Then ask a simple question.
âHow is your body feeling today?â
âIs there anything youâd like to focus on?â
From there, you can slightly tailor the sequence.
Maybe they need more hip work.
Maybe slower transitions.
Maybe more shoulder mobility.
Or simply a gentler pace.
With one student in the room, you have more freedom to adapt the class.
You can spend longer in poses.
Offer clearer specific cues.
And give them more space to ask questions.
Often these classes end up being some of the most valuable for the student.
They get more personal attention.
But still enjoy the relaxed feel of a group class.
Sometimes the quietest class of the day turns out to be the most meaningful one to teach.
4Beat is a vinyasa yoga practice where the breath is synched to a slow, steady, regular soundtrack, which acts like a metronome. This has the effect of creating flow state - a moving meditation. The rhythm is consistent and grounding, never heavy or rushed, allowing each movement to unfold with control and intention.
It is a flowing sequence of asanas (postures) inspired by the Rocket Yoga lineage. The result is a powerful, immersive experience. Movement and meditation in perfect harmony.
Soften or take it up a notch depending on your energy levels. Variations and modifications available to make it your own.

Dancing is the best medicineâŚor is it laughter, meh, doesnât matter. Hereâs your reminder to be silly sometimes. Thanks to @littlehaque@liforme for the competition.
Yesterday I practised @rocketbeatslondon with a room full of passionate like minded yogis and honestly, I was so humbled and inspired at the same time.
I heard powerful breath, saw unreal shapes being made. >@yogawithjono . One highlight being Visvamitrasana â demoed and cued at the same time by @imiwiseman đ
âYoga is skill in action.â (Bhagavad Gita)
Another day folds.Another shape taken.Another breath in, another let go.
A lesson. A blessing. A balance. A fall.
Maybe a videoâŚ
But always more than what you see!

Transitions build strength, stability, and mindfulness.
They teach control, patience, and presence.
Every shift happens with the breath and is a chance to refine awareness,to move with intention.
