I can’t even begin to count the number of times I’ve teared up while going through footage from our incredibly special night at @silodallas . What an honor and a blessing it is to have been given an opportunity like this, and it’s infinitely more special knowing I got to share it with so many of my friends and loved ones 💜

The kind of reaction to an unreleased track that I thought I could only dream of 🥹
I made this track over a year ago, when I was barely 4 or 5 months into my production journey. It was one of my earliest projects, and it’s held a special place in my heart as the first one to truly capture the sound I was known for as a DJ in Dallas.
It’s always gotten an incredible response in sets and amongst people I’ve shared it with, including one of my literal idols @fatzo_music , but it’s sat collecting dust on my hard drive for many months while I’ve unexplainably been too afraid to share it with the world.
Looking back on this moment from the biggest show of my career at @takeabreakfest in August has once again made me realize just how special this track is to me. I figured it’s time to stop listening to that annoying voice in my head and get it (and many others) out there 💜

I may have only lived in this house for 16 months, but the impact it had on my life will stay with me forever.
This home brought me my sweet Canty, it gave me my first (and second) studio space, and being in a neighborhood like this really showed me the importance of slowing down and appreciating the little things in life.
While I’m incredibly heartbroken that I had to leave it behind and move back to Fort Worth with my dad for a bit, I’m immensely thankful to have been blessed with a place like this to help me grow as not only an artist, but as a person too. The late nights in the studio, long walks in the park across the street, hours napping with my babies, and countless beautiful sunsets will be deeply missed.
It would take me 10+ posts to recount all the incredible memories in this house with my friends and more, so here are some of the beautifully simple moments that made it feel like home 💜
I definitely should have slept more before this insane weekend, especially considering I’m playing two different cities in one night tomorrow 😭

In just under two weeks I will officially be a part of @sxsw , one of the most iconic festivals in the WORLD, alongside some great friends and incredible artists.
