@yesfolk their delicious kombucha for this beautiful family-style long table gathering co-hosted by artist
@acanarytorsi and part of the festival curated by
@taraaishist
alongside amazing artists and community members across Troy and the Capital Region.
The menu brought together Indonesian and Puerto Rican dishes, including cassabe bread made from Yanira’s family recipe. And we also made sorullos using blue Mohican corn grown at
@soulfirefarm
What I loved about this festival was how it centered gathering, movement, community, and care through art, food, performance, and conversation. People sitting together at one long table, sharing stories and meals with one another, felt so beautiful and meaningful. A reminder that food and art can create connection, nourishment, and a sense of belonging. 🤍
