Excited to share that three pieces from my photo exhibit Dear Ayeeyo are currently part of Kuumba an outdoor exhibition at Harbourfront Centre (235 Queens Quay West) that will be on display until April 11, 2021. Thank you @niacentre for putting this together and @harbourfrontcentre for giving Dear Ayeeyo another home.
My latest exhibit “Dreaming in Colour” explores the dreams and aspirations of Somali children. The show will be at Union Station until the end of summer. Working with our children for so long I’ve always known how beautiful their minds are, no matter their age and I’m grateful for the chance to show this at Canada’s busiest station.
A huge thank you to the team at @torontounion especially @shahsyma for helping bring this to life.
Stills for @mustafathepoet first poetry publication, Nour.
May Allah reward my brother Mustafa for bringing us together to go to His house and for giving us the opportunity to share that story.
