Lately, I've been playing with different kinds of tools ⚒️
I haven't been climbing much the past few months cause I've been putting all my focus into learning a new skill. I gotta say, though, I was so overwhelmed at first, but little by little, I'm wading through it. And now I wake up excited to work on the van and figure out the next task.
I've never built anything like this before! Growing up, my dad was always building things, and I would help. He was an electrician, so the house was always under some kind of renovation. I've always been artsy, and I enjoy making things with my hands. I'm having fun figuring it all out along the way.
Here's some clips of what I've been up to if you missed it. I promise I'll try to be better about filming. I don't think I filmed much of the build the last week. Sometimes, you just gotta be in the moment and get shit done! I'm really proud of the sliding door cubbies, though. I loved making these wood boxes and the intricacies of it. I'm hoping to wrap up the wiring and walls soon so I can get to building cabinets!

I'm absolutely terrified, excited, nervous, anxious and all the feels with what's coming up.
And I just booked our flights to Thailand and Laos!!! And yes to climb!
Less than 2 weeks from now Kimmie and I will be doing Asia Part 2! So here's to another epic adventure, Kimmie, let's try not to die on scooters on this trip!!!

It’s my birthday today, and I’m so happy to be back in Sweet home Alabama celebrating with my ol’ man. Last month I drove down because he wasn’t doing well. My dad is turning 85 in a few days. It’s been a long time since we spent our birthdays together. Life has a way of passing you by and you wonder where all the time went. Last month I had all my sisters here and we had the most special visit. Having us here made my dad make a miraculous recovery, and he has been doing so well ever since. He said, his girls healed him 🥹
This time I’m here with my husband and it’s just as special. I will cherish all the time we have together on this short trip. And it feels so good to be back home.
My sister is giving us a car 🚘 a red one in fact. I’m so thankful we won’t have to drive our big van all over town anymore! So in a few days Justin and I will be driving back to Vegas, but first we are going to stop in Louisiana to visit my mother’s side of the family. I’m so excited because they haven’t met Justin yet. I know they will love him.
Anyways, I know I’m not posting much these days. Social media isn’t as important to me right now. I’m doing my best to stay present and work on my relationship to the lord and my family. But I love you all!
