That's the total stream hours for the 2025 Grands. Proud of the team this year. A combination of who you see here brought you our @flobikes production and our YouTube productions this season. I also want to thank those not pictured here in @rodbuilder , @smokedsignals , @jpennucciphotography@connorfields11 , @rp_tangent@jacob.w.nelson and @ebmx . We made it though rain and wind storms, broken cameras, missed flights, lackluster internet connections, cut wires, and a bunch of other challenges. Thank you all.
Staying live for this amount of time is always challenging. You're sleep deprived, sun deprived, eating bad food and pretty much operating in zombie mode. I always have a bunch of anxiety beforehand thinking of things that I've missed or overlooked but by Sunday night it all seems to have worked itself out.
This was the first year in my 15 years that we've had a broadcast partner and the event was PPV. Lots of opinions both good and bad (and I've read everyone one of them) but that comes with the territory. I could sit here and explain why we do things the way we do them and why some ideas will never happen on a 57 hour stream but now is not the time. I'm ready to get home to the family and go enjoy some sunshine. Until next time...
Entering this weekend my stress level was pretty darn high. There were so many unknowns and moving parts with the new pro series streaming format.
I felt better each day that transpired and today was definitely the best show of the event. Thanks to @brookeonabike for her precision on the switch, @connorfields11 for being our trackside reporte , you have an awesome rapport with the riders that can't be denied, @ultimategypsy and @jpennucciphotography for their camera work and humor, @wahleysworld for knocking down the interviews and producing great content, and to @ebmx for bringing it all together with your vocals. Stellar work. It will only get better from here. I hope everyone enjoyed the free preview.

Another grands in the books! I think this is number 26 for me. This is always the most challenging and rewarding week of the year for me and this year was no exception. This was the last year on the video crew for @ramonevick73 . He's been busy doing his normal project manager thing so on to that. Thanks son for always being there at the drop of a hat. Love you!

A lot of people have no idea that civil rights sit popularity started in Rock Hill,South Carolina, yes, that Rock Hill. While the desegregation tactic was tried at a Woolworths lunch counter in North Carolina in 1960, the Rock Hill incident garnered national press coverage. In January of 1961 a group known as the Friendship Nine went into Mccrory's Five & Dime, sat at the lunch counter, we're refused service and arrested 1 minute after. The were sentaced the next day to 30 days of chain gang labor. This incident changed the course of US history.
The big homie Shannon Gillette and I sat at this same counter and shared a meal yesterday. The seats and countertop are the original ones from 63 years ago. What an amazing place and an even more amazing story.
So I've been working on this project for almost 2 years now and I'm just about ready to bring it to market.
The original idea I had for a tracking device goes back about 5 years. There was a French company that had produced a bar inserted GPS tracker. I bought one and it just didn't fit a BMX bike. We use lock on grips, which didn't fit over the device, it had to be charged twice a week, it used 2g/3g data connections and the app was terrible. I looked at other options but nothing really would work for a BMX bike.
Three years ago Samsung releases the SmartTag Bluetooth trackerand shortly after Apple released the Airtag Bluetooth tracker. These instantly grabbed my attention and bike mounted trackers mounts started to pop up. Unfortunately none of what was brought to market fit BMX bikes specifically so I decided to develop my own.
I worked with a friend that manufactures items for another industry and what you see below is the result of many hours of brainstorming, design, and testing sessions. We're also in the patent pending stage with the USPTO. If you've ever had a bike stolen, and many of us have, there is no worse feeling than not knowing where your bike is.
The Plight (short for Plain Sight) allows you to securely mount an Airtag or SmartTag to any pivotal seat. It also allows for tracking during travel, or if your bike lives in your garage.
