As much as I love teaching and seeing my students every class, I have to remind myself to TAKE CLASS too.
Not every workout needs to be intense like this one (shoutout @avamoreno for this Barre STRONG class😵💫). Sometimes it’s just a 30-minute flow, a yin class, or any type of movement that fills my own cup.
As an instructor, I can literally feel when I haven’t been pouring back into myself. My energy feels off, my body feels off, even the way I teach feels different.
And to be honest…I’m not always excited to get on the mat 😭 Sometimes I want to stay on the couch, watch Netflix, and nap with my dog all day.
But every single time I take even 30 minutes for myself, I leave feeling 10000% better than before.
Just sharing my thoughts- maybe you relate, maybe not 🤍
Hope you all have a great weekend. Go move your body a little if you can… 🤍
Happy 31st birthday to my one and only 🎂
Today is all about you. 🤍
Wishing you a year full of new memories and even bigger wins. 31 is a new chapter, and every year you level up even more than the last.
To the man who never fails to make me laugh and who I’ve had the honor of standing beside through your highest highs, I admire the work, discipline, and heart you put into everything you do. I feel so lucky to see the behind the scenes of all that you’ve built.
I’ll always be your number one cheerleader, whether I’m right next to you or watching a livestream at 4am from another country.
Thank you for taking care of us, for keeping our date nights a priority even after 8 years, and for being the best dog dad to Pluto, always making time for him, even on your busiest days.
Never stop believing in yourself. You have a whole community behind you and a family that’s always rooting for you. ♥️
You shine so bright through your craft, I can’t wait to see what this year brings ✨I love you 😘
barre, developed by Lotte Berk, inspired by ballet, but not ballet.
it’s a method built on small, controlled movements, precise alignment, and repetitive work that fatigues the muscles deeply.
it’s not about how high you lift or how big you move, it’s about staying stable, supported, and in control.
less range. more control.
