We miss so much doing this job. Birthdays, the birth of nieces and nephews, weddings, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, funerals… moments we don’t always get the chance to do twice with the people we love.
Mum, you are the most incredible person I know. You have so often been the glue in our family, and more times than not, the glue holding the pieces of my life together.
Thank you for every sacrifice, every sleepless night, every time you put us before yourself. We didn’t grow up with the most of everything, but we grew up with the most you could give, and that makes me the luckiest son in the world.
I lost Dad two years ago, and it reminds me more than ever that tomorrow is never promised. Make the most of each day, the people around you, and the moments that matter.
Happy Mother’s Day Mum. Love you.
And Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums out there, and all my love to those missing their mothers today.
Konsky Set for Full-Time Comeback!
51-year-old Yarrive Konsky is officially making a full return to competition following a rigorous series of “tests” that saw him outperform his entire team of riders.
The testing program included 16-hour workdays, chasing sponsorships, building proposals, driving trucks, and cleaning the workshop, all completed at an elite level.
“We ran a full evaluation, and I outperformed the team across all areas of the business… except on track,” Konsky said. “So overall, I think it’s fair to say I delivered a stronger, more well-rounded performance.”
Konsky is expected to line up at the next round, pending approval from his recovery team (coffee and sleep).
In related news, he also confirmed he’ll be making his debut in the NBA next week.
Please support Eliza Dennis.
Eliza is a true hero, a courageous, extraordinary young woman who continues to change the way I think, and she is only 13 years old!
I first met Eliza when she was just 10. She was Byron Dennis’ little sister, full of energy, full of belief, and completely untouched by limitation. Age didn’t matter. Gender didn’t matter. The only limits were the ones you allowed into your mind and Eliza never allowed any.
Even then, she carried herself with a maturity beyond her years. A winner’s mindset, already formed. It’s easy to see why, her mum Katie, determined and strong, and her dad Ben, the quiet force behind making dreams possible.
I was drawn to her mentality immediately. Not because of results but because of who she was, her can-do attitude.
I supported her journey, proud to see her wearing FLY gear and a Froth helmet. And when she earned her ride with Yamaha, I was just as proud. Because in this sport, the colour of the bike doesn’t define the person. What matters is who you are and Eliza is everything this sport stands for.
Then came the moment that defined her.
At the Junior Australians, she broke her collarbone — completely. For most, that’s the end. Hospital. Recovery. Rest.
Not for Eliza.
She got up. Every morning. Put her gear on. And raced.
Not just to finish, but to win.
And she did.
That wasn’t just tough, it was extraordinary. It’s something I still struggle to comprehend. The pain she endured, the mindset she carried, that’s when I knew she was different. Truly different.
She doesn’t make excuses. She doesn’t know how to. She just turns up!
Now, she faces a new challenge.
An injury that has left her, for now, without feeling from the waist down. It’s serious. It’s confronting. It’s life-changing.
But if you know Eliza even just a little, you know this:
She will fight. (Cont reading, below)
Because that’s who she is.
I went to visit her, and do you know what she wanted to do?
Watch Supercross. Talk about racing. Talk about Round 1 of Australian MX predictions.
That’s Eliza.
Her strength, her resilience, her love for life, it’s bigger than this moment. Bigger than this injury. @eliza_dennis265

This book took me longer to read than most, not because the words were difficult, but because the truth in them demanded reflection.
Success is built on battles most people never see. Internal battles. Personal wars. Racing is a continuous motion with no pause button, no reprieve, until there is no option left but to breathe. Every risk carries a reward. Every hit delivers a lesson. But only if you’re willing to take both. Only if you’re willing to stand back up.
Performance always begins with people. In racing, we chase milliseconds, tiny margins that demand everything. Winning is a race with no finish line, not until you choose to take your final chequered flag.
Every race is the same at its core. A running race. A business race. A motorsport race. All require discipline, discipline that exists in everyone, but is constantly tested. The difference is simple: winners are the ones who can’t be broken. The ones who refuse to quit.
This is a masterful book. Raw, honest, and insightful. Behind the entertainment are people who want to win, desperately. The cheers fade. Trophies from last year collect dust. Glory becomes memory. The past becomes a story others tell.
Winners don’t live there.
They chase the next victory.
I’ve always wanted to make our sport better, more accessible, more respected, and more inviting for new riders and families. This was the first track I ever rode, and one day I’ll share that story. For now, I can only say that this is something my dad would have been proud of.
I’m sad he won’t get to see it reopen, but I’m grateful to be doing it alongside one of my best friends, someone whose kids feel like family to me. @cheyneboyd4@caitlinwestonboyd4
This image is just an artist’s render, but it represents what’s to come: a world-class facility designed for everyone, from first-time riders to professionals. It will be inclusive, eventful, and a place that celebrates both competition and recreation.
The café will be called Barry’s Place, in honour of my dad.
Cheyne and I are incredibly proud and humbled to announce our new venture together
The Frankston Moto Park.
Doug,
You were proud of me, of what I achieved and what I stood for. You stood by me, always. Your loyalty was unwavering, and in a sport and industry that can break even the strongest, your faith in me made me feel whole.
For more than twenty five years, we shared dinners, laughter, stories, and lessons. We shared our love for racing and our awe for the riders who dared to do what few could. Those memories are now treasures I will carry forever.
When my dad passed, when I lost my dog, and when business and life felt heavy, you were there. You showed up when others didn’t, not just as a friend, but as family. You’ve always been one of God’s greatest gifts to me an angel who walked this earth with quiet strength and kindness. And though you’ve left this world, I know you’ll keep watching over me, guiding me like you always have.
Your presence calmed my mind. Your acceptance filled my heart. Our friendship can never be replaced.
I used to tell you, life is short, buy that house, get that car, do everything you want to do. Don’t wait. Don’t ask for permission. I said it often, and now that you’re gone, those words weigh heavier than ever.
You were more than a friend, Doug. You were family. And I’ll miss you for the rest of my life.
Tomi, “proud” doesn’t even begin to describe it. You told me you would reach this milestone, and you did, with gratitude, respect, and above all, conviction.
Together with Quad Lock Honda in the US, MTF, the world’s number one training facility and Honda Racing Australia, you’ve achieved something that will be remembered in the record books forever.
Thank you, Tomi. This moment is unforgettable, and I’ll never forget it either. @tomidoble59@quadlockhonda@honda_racing_aus@mtfmx@flyracing.global@sidisport_official@oakley@quadlock@skda.moto and thank you @_rmcardle for the amazing edit.
