Valextra Milan, Italy Window Display @valextra Across the windows in Milan, Paris, and London, a series of totems emerge as declination of the central column conceived for the Mitsukoshi installation. Monolithic and precise, they frame each product within a defined architectural silhouette, transforming display into a clear and recognisable visual system. Valextra Tokyo, Mitsukoshi Ginza Pop-Up Store 2026 @valextra Simple shapes and curated details reflect the concept of this pop-up concept and Valextra’s meticulous attention to details and quality. The choice of ALPI’s intarsia veneer Grada Rosa, designed by Patricia Urquiola, nods to Milanese architecture, colours and shapes. Its tones are harmonized to create a balanced geometrical composition shifting from pale to dark pink, all the way to the beige of oak. A unique yet simple concept and design with a limited selection of materials which evoke quality and elegance simultaneously, reminding of Valextra’s simple shapes and its hometown Milan’s architectural landscape. Valextra Tokyo, Mitsukoshi Ginza Pop-Up Store 2026 @valextra Aldo Rossi’s cubed Monument to Sandro Pertini, that stands moments away from the Valextra flagship boutique in Milan, has inspired the layered steps in the space, intended to invite guests to sit and engage with the tactility of the new collection. Pink intarsia veneer remind of the Candoglia marble used for the Duomo di Milano while evoking the shades of the imminent Sakura season in Japan. Valextra Tokyo, Mitsukoshi Ginza Pop-Up Store 2026 @valextra For the launch of Valextra’s new Iside Editor and Iside Tin bags, we designed a pop-up shop at Tokyo’s department store Mitsukoshi in Ginza, to celebrate the cultural exchange between Milanese and Japanese aesthetic codes. Visitors are invited to discover the spirit of innovative design and Milanese excellence through an experiential journey into the Valextra universe. With inspiration drawn from the architectural history of the city, the pop-up is framed by wooden panels that nod to the interior architecture of the original Valextra boutique in Piazza San Babila, one of Milan’s iconic meeting points. Many thanks to the entire team of Valextra. Task: Creative Design, Project Management Photography: @shokogram #retaildesign #popupdesign #tokyo #valextra #yarostudio
