Conner, Peter Larson, Bryon Miller, Shawn Mishak, Cynthia Penter, JStormy Switzer, Anastasia Pantsios, Gina Washington, and Daniel Levin.
Hope to see you there!
Daniel Levin is a contemporary artist, documentary photographer, educator, and author whose work explores how history continues to shape the present. Working across photography, film, performance, and site specific installation, his projects invite viewers to slow down and consider memory, responsibility, and empathy within society. His practice is grounded in research and lived experience, using visual storytelling to connect past events with current cultural realities. Learn more at levinphoto.com.
Levin is also the author of Violins and Hope: From the Holocaust to Symphony Hall, which documents the life and mission of Israeli luthier Amnon Weinstein. Weinstein devoted his career to restoring violins that survived the Holocaust, tracing their journey from silence back to sound. The book includes a foreword by conductor Franz Welser Möst and stands as a powerful reflection on memory, loss, and resilience.
I met Daniel Levin in the Cleveland Arcade, one of the city’s most photographed and beautiful spaces, and photographed him within a setting that echoes the themes of history and continuity found in his work. It was great talking with him about his artistic philosophy, his family, and his openness about living with neurological challenges and receiving advanced brain stimulation treatments in Cleveland.
Daniel Levin and I are excited to share work in an upcoming exhibition at YARDS Project Space that reimagines portraiture as a living archive shaped by memory, place, and time. The exhibition runs January 22 through February 28, 2026, at Worthington Yards in downtown Cleveland.
Yards Holiday Pop Up and Open Yards III decking the halls on Saturday December 6th from noon-4pm. Join us for celebrating local artists and artisans for your holiday gift giving! 725 Johnson Ct. Thankful for all your support this past year!
This region has been so fortunate to have an artist like @ginnicoparei who has been a pulse-checker and witness to the surreal swirl of dizzying, dumbfounding and beyond bizarre events that we humans live with and among. Claudio carves into wood, rolls ink on, and makes the most primal record one can make of what he wants us to remember. He is a great image maker. Join us for the opening reception of Disorders of Attention this Thursday, September 18th from 5/30-7pm @tinnermanlofts 2048 Fulton Rd. #livingwithart #clevelandart
