Deeply honoured to be invited to speak about Ise's practices. He is someone very dear to many friends. I only hope my talk can do justice, if not as witness of his conviction and dedication.
Too many untimely demises, as another good artist past on today, how should we continue remembering them and their arts and humanity?

When I first learnt about OCAC (open contemporary art center) Taipei, I was intrigued by the story about their episode of relocating to Bangkok in the early 2010's, and ran a project space there for a year. Later on, I got to know some of the active members better, and have been fortunate to be hosted in their Taipei space twice (when I needed a place to sleep/hang-out)!
And they are still doing years-long engagement projects with artists (collective/space) from SEAsia (Vietnam, Indonesia ... ), and still do not compromise to become institutionalised, with new members joining them!
So i think they are cool! :-D
Happy 25th anniversary @ocac_tw !
But @shihtung you got to fix the website, how else could I direct audiences to it whenever I speak about it during presentation... 555

Evolving Matter is an exhibition about thinking through making, consisting of 20 artists, researchers, and designers selected from an open call. It spotlights process led art iteration, experiments, and visible labor over polished results. Sketches, tests, failures, and prototypes become primary works, revealing decisions, detours, and discoveries. Across media, practitioners show research in practice from material trials to algorithmic tuning and embodied tests. The gallery becomes a lab, where process is both discourse and display.
