One Flower, A Thousand Kindnesses🌸
FCM Welfare Committee together with the admin team successfully carried out a small USR initiative during the FCM Bajet-Bajet Raya Celebration on 29th April 2026 through the sale of handmade crochet flowers as a fundraising effort to support FCM students in need and the FCM Bakul Rahmah initiative.
Special thanks to our student volunteer, Nur Syaza binti Ahmad Zailani from the Visual Effects degree programme, as well as our Deputy Dean of Student Experience & Alumni, Dr. Elyna Amir, for helping with the flower sales. We are happy to share that all crochet flowers and chocolates were sold out.

Our Diploma student, Lee Cheng Yan @joyo_cy , has made history at the 5th World Taijiquan Championships 2026, held in Burgas, Bulgaria from 23 to 30 April 2026.
Competing against top athletes from around the world, he represented Malaysia with calm strength and unwavering focus. And he returned home with three incredible achievements:
🥇 Gold – Men’s Optional Taijiquan
🥈 Silver – Men’s 42 Style Taijijian
🥉 Bronze – Men’s 42 Style Taijiquan
Behind these medals are years of silent discipline, Early mornings, repeated routines, and Small corrections. On that international stage, he did not just compete. He carried our flag, our pride, and the spirit of Malaysia.

On April 16th, our students took a major step toward their professional futures at the Career Readiness: Resume Writing and Portfolio Design Workshop.
It was an incredible 3-hour hybrid session, buzzing with energy both in Studio 4006 and online via Teams. We were honored to have Ms. Emalina Aimi Binti Edris (Class of 2008 and our Industry Advisor for Advertising Design) return to her roots to share industry secrets on crafting résumés that actually get read and portfolios that leave an impact.
From fundamental layout tips to hands-on portfolio organizing, our students are now equipped with the tools to transition from the classroom to the industry with confidence.

We are thrilled to announce that Ts. Muhammad Tamim Faruq Khairul ‘Azmi, Lecturer from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia, has emerged as the Champion of the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition at the MMU level!
Organized by the MMU Institute of Postgraduate Studies, the 3MT challenges researchers to explain their complex work in just three minutes. Ts. Tamim not only took home the top prize but also captured the hearts of the audience, bagging the People’s Choice Award (PhD Level).
