I knew in third grade that I wanted to be a broadcast journalist. Not kind of. Not maybe. I knew.
I grew up believing in the power of positivity. It shaped how I see the world, how I raise my family and why I share daily affirmations with you. Words matter. Mindset matters. What we believe about ourselves matters.
The DMV isn’t just where I work. It’s where I raised my family. It’s where our family grew. It’s home. This community has given me so much, and I am grateful.

Today, my #2 becomes a husband. 💍
There are moments in life you know will stay with you forever. This is one of them.
I still see the little boy who made me laugh, kept me on my toes, and grew into a man with a kind heart and so much love to give. Watching him find his person and prepare to build a life rooted in love feels like one of the greatest gifts a mother can experience.
As a mom, you spend years pouring into your children, then one day you realize they’ve become everything you hoped for and so much more.
Tyson, I am so proud of the man you are and the beautiful life you and your bride are beginning together.
My heart is full today. ❤️
