We truly understand the crucial role of the playback operator on movie set. This position can significantly influence actors performance and emotions, mainly if the main role is such a talent as Angelina Jolie.
You not only need to be prepared on the side of technology, but also have background in music.
Deep understanding of the opera’s score - knowing exactly where each sequence begins and ends and quickly react to all changes on the fly, quickly operating Pro Tools is just few of the skills needed to became a valuable part of sound team on set.

The invisible sound guys — the ones who are usually the quietest on set, yet we’re sure they could write a whole book about stories they accidentally heard when someone forgot they were wired… or simply that the mic was already live.
And sound in commercials is a whole different game — half the time we don’t even need a boom op, because most of the lines end up as voiceover anyway… and then suddenly we do.
Like on our last job… We planned everything for VO, booked a super-silent genny, ran the lines with talents at least six times and still somehow forgot to book a boom op.
Thankfully Jarko stepped in and saved the day without a single mistake. Precise, organised, calm, asks the right questions and never the useless ones. We love a “one call is enough” crew member.
Jarko is exactly that! Just quietly doing everything right, with the softest attitude and the best vibes.

This production reminded us how fragile and powerful those moments can be when a person opens up.
Especially within the autism spectrum, where every expression is different, unique, and deeply meaningful.
As a sound team, we had the rare opportunity to be there — to listen quietly, respect the space, and capture the truth of these intimate moments.
I’m grateful we could be part of something where sound wasn’t just a technique, but a bridge to understanding how different we all are… and how equally valuable.
