The batea is not just a structure floating on the sea; it is a testament to patience, and respect for nature.
Each mussel shaped by tides, salt, and time-by the quiet work of those who understand the sea not as something to conquer, but to listen to. Beneath the surface lies our ancestors knowledge and the bond between people and the blue sea.
This short film is a tribute to that balance: to Galicia’s waters, to the masters of such crafts. Because true gastronomy begins long before the kitchen-it begins with respect, heritage and culture.

Beef is not just an ingredient; it is a story of patience, effort, and respect. Every cut carries years of dedication, daily care, and the devotion of farmers who truly understand the value of time. As a chef, I feel it is my duty to honour that silent work—the nobility of an animal that gives us so much, and the journey it takes before reaching the table.
This short film was created as a tribute: a recognition of the land, of those who work it, and of the greatness of a product that deserves to be treated with dignity, care, and gratitude. Because cooking, too, is about memory and respect.

It has been almost a month since I left the gorgeous London town. I wanna look back to one of the last restaurant I visited @legado_ldn
From @sabor_ldn in Mayfair to the upbeat Shoeditch, @nieves_barragan1 brings her Spanish Magic to East London.
It tasted like home and it felt like home. If you haven’t been there, this is your sign 🇪🇸

This is not goodbye, but see you later. ❤️
Time to leave this beautiful town. 16 years it has been, and London has offered me so many friendship, many great memories and many spectacular moments. I want to thank and send my love to all of you that have shared this journey with me. 🇬🇧
Season 4 is approaching and we are gonna do it back home, in Galicia. 🇪🇸 See you around 🧑🍳🔥
I have seen it, you have seen it. The hype online for Onsu, the new spot opened by @etkwan the skill pastry chef behind The Dorchester.
Of course we went to try it, super lucky to miss the rush hour during lunch. We had three different desserts, all has its own distinctive beauty and flavour, love it all but the 100% Pistachio has to be my favourite. -86 Degree Ube Latte is full of surprises too. Great for the adventurous.
If you haven’t been, it is time to go. Excellent bites and excellent location. Keep up the good work Michael.

@napoli_ontheroad opened a new branch in Soho. And you know we have to try it. I been a big fan of their pizza, they are great and as you all know it is hard to get a walk in in their other branch. So we just had to pop into the SoHo one when we saw that it is free.
We had the Wild Marinara, of course something with anchovies is a must. That is probably our favourite of the day. We are on Fire is also very flavoursome, Nduja and Stracciatella, that’s a combo that can’t go wrong.
They might actually just be the best pizza in town 🤷🏻♀️ let use know if there’s another spot that could compete with them and we will go 😉
Next week we go to Onsu the new dessert/bakery spot just around the corner 😛 so be ready.

We always report about great food with excellent value. Well in this economy, @casadofrango_london one is one of the tops. Massive portion and excellent flavour.
Portuguese and Galicia share a lot of similarities, and one of them is the food. Tucked inside Heddon Street, next to Sabor is Casa do Frango. An amazing spot lunch and dinner, whenever you feel like it.
We highly recommend the Bacalhau à Brás, Sourdough (not just because it is from Dusty Knuckle but also because of the olive oil), Chorizo and the Frango of course 😏
Let us know where should we try next. Happy New Years to you all (if it is not too late)

Spanish food isn’t the only comfort food there is. In Guangdong area of China or Hong Kong, it is very common for them to have Clay Pot rice during the winter.
We went to try @potandrice and we loved the Chinese Salami and Chicken Rice. Highly recommended for a winter day lunch in central London.
Follow for more and let us know where should we try next. 🧑🍳

You know what will warm you body up in this cold London winter? Spicy food 🥵🌶️
We went to ADOH!, a Sri Lankan street food style restaurant, located in Covent Garden. It is quite a new spot and they definitely deserve a shoutout because 😮💨, was the food spicy AND flavoursome.
The staffs were welcoming and friendly, we loved the food and we loved the vibe.
🦀I highly recomm fhe Crab Kothu, it is quite a wild ride but the flavour was very worth it.
Let me know where we should go now?

ONE OF THE BEST BEST LUNCH SPOT IN LONDON 🇬🇧
You have seen the video but I felt the need to deep dive into the magical, signature dish of @emberyardrestaurant TheJosper Chicken with Alhambra rice. A story of how an accident became what it is today, a classic but unique kitchen story.
Once again thank you for @chef_ricardosapimentel with the help and his invite.
Thanks for watching, let us know if there’s any food spot we need to visit. 😉

The cold winter is here and I have a lovely lunch/dinner spot for you London foodies. 🇬🇧
This is @emberyardrestaurant Located in Soho, it is a cozy and beautiful causal fine dining restaurant. Now, don’t be put off by the phrase fine dining - what you are about to have is actually excellent value for its price. With touches of Spanish and Italian, Ember Yard sure delivers some excellent comfort food. We highly recommend the Head Chef’s Tasting Menu. If Tasting Menu is too much, I would still suggest trying the dishes from it as an A la Carte. Without a doubt (and I mean it wholeheartedly), one of the best lunches in London at the moment.
Shoutout to @chef_ricardosapimentel for the invite and his generous hospitality. We actually talked briefly about the signature Josper Chicken with Alhambra rice. There is a little fun story behind it, so maybe next week, we’ll tell that story.
Thanks for watching, let us know if there’s any food spot we need to visit. 😉
