I never in a million years thought I would have the courage to get up on a stage and perform, least of all as one of my absolute favorite characters with some of the most amazing people I’ve ever met. 💕 Thank you to @azstolas and @zephyrleigh_ for putting on this fantastic show and for letting me be part of it. I was in my first competition! ✨ @lvlupexpo MainStage was a bit of a reach for the stars, but I did it. Competing in this specifically was surreal. One of my New Year’s resolutions was to put myself out there, to compete. To make sure that I showed myself that no matter how much I was knocked down I can get back up guns blazing. I didn’t think that I would make it, but to get that email that I was in… I sobbed. LVLUP Expo means so much to me. It was my first convention back into cosplaying 3 years ago in 2023. I wanted to prove to myself how far I’ve come and how much work I still need to do. Thank you to the people that came out to support me, the lights in my world that I don’t think I would be here without. Specifically, thank you to @amethyst_jade__ for being the best handler, the best co-lead, the best hat holder and most of all my best friend. I would have quit this whole thing if you didn’t push me to just get on that stage and power through. And I know I said that I wouldn’t be competing again, but… it’s like a drug. That stage is calling me once again whether it’s competing, performing, paneling, etc. I’m not fading from this world of cosplay. I belong here just as much as the next person.
