A big thank you to everyone who applied to our Book open call. We’re honestly overwhelmed — both by the number of submissions and the quality of work we’ve seen. It’s been a difficult selection, and we’re grateful that so many of you wanted to show your work with us. All applicants will receive a response by end of today.

December 13th we invite you to join us for a fun night when Ex Nihilo hosts the release of a calendar made by @vixtoriasalomonsen and @signedige Come by for drinks and enjoy a DJ set by @xxdebbie_singsxx ✨ Throughout this year Vixtoria Salomonsen and Signe Dige have been working together portraying different couples between Berlin and Copenhagen. Each image is created intimately in spaces in which each couple has invited Salomonsen into, and each image is accompanied by a carefully animated frame from Dige. The project is created with an aim of celebrating different kinds of love and hope, and to bring it into other peoples home.

A closer look at Adam Jeppesen’s new works for Land of No Evil. Seen from the side, the cyanotype blue rises through the linen — a quiet pulse of color held in the weave. But from the front, each piece shifts into something harder to name: a vibrating, uncertain hue that sits between tones, never fully settling. The material isn’t a background to the image; it’s part of the image itself. Light moves through the transparent linen, catches on the fibers, and pulls the motifs in and out of clarity. What appears fixed from one position dissolves from another.

Ten days into the run of Land of No Evil, we’re still discovering new layers in Adam Jeppesen’s installation. This new body of work — shown for the first time at Ex Nihilo — shifts constantly with the light. Seen from the side, the pieces reveal the deep blue of cyanotype on linen; from the front, the color dissolves into something harder to define, vibrating between red, violet, and shadow. The works refuse a fixed image. They appear, fade, and re-appear as you move, as if the surface were breathing. A quiet field of perception rather than a stable picture. Thank you to everyone who came by the opening — the room has settled beautifully since, and the works keep unfolding for each viewer who spends time with them.

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for the opening of Land of No Evil by Adam Jeppesen. It was a generous and energetic evening — full of people engaging deeply with the work, conversations unfolding, and the room moving at its own rhythm. We’re grateful to everyone who came by and took the time to experience the new pieces. A special thank you to Eliott Litrowski for his ambient set, creating a sonic atmosphere that beautifully complemented the exhibition’s focus on perception and presence. The show is now open — we look forward to seeing you again throughout the month
