Today, the low end took center stage. In the afternoon, @xandervrienten visited the studio for a solo tribute to the bass. ‘The instrument is the real humble hero, not me,’ Xander told us.
With his yet-untitled pieces Bass Opus 1 and Bass Opus 2, he expressed his appreciation for the instrument he loves most. Xander first began playing violin as a child, inspired by his grandfather’s passion for the music of Bach, before picking up the bass guitar around the age of 13.
