Tidebound Company — Scene I: The Oceans Call 🌊🐍 All was well at sea… …which, for the Tidebound Company, usually meant disaster was only moments away. Without warning, the ocean began to churn violently beneath the ship. From the depths emerged a monstrous sea serpent, its massive body coiling around the vessel as timber groaned beneath its weight. Celestia froze as the beast’s gargantuan head slowly rose before her. Without hesitation, Sir Gerebert drew his sword and leapt at the creature — already contemplating how he would explain the damage to the ship later. With a single strike, he severed the serpent’s tail cleanly from its body. Talos followed swiftly. After ensuring the rest of the crew had a clear view of both himself and his “fit,” he sprinted along the ship’s railing before launching himself skyward — twin blades driving deep into the serpent’s flesh. The beast thrashed violently across the deck. In a panic, Celestia cast Minor Illusion, desperately attempting to distract the creature before it swallowed her whole. Not a moment too soon… Feeling the ancestral power of her draconic blood surge through her veins, Skylor raised her staff and shouted: 🔥 “Dragon’s Reprisal!” 🔥 A roaring plume of fire erupted across the deck, scorching the serpent and forcing the wounded beast back into the dark ocean depths below. As silence finally returned to the sea, the Tidebound Company stood victorious. Exhausted. Slightly traumatised. And already debating whether sea serpent tail counted as a delicacy.
