Tidebound Company — Scene I: The Oceans Call 🌊🐍
All was well at sea…
…which, for the Tidebound Company, usually meant disaster was only moments away.
Without warning, the ocean began to churn violently beneath the ship. From the depths emerged a monstrous sea serpent, its massive body coiling around the vessel as timber groaned beneath its weight.
Celestia froze as the beast’s gargantuan head slowly rose before her.
Without hesitation, Sir Gerebert drew his sword and leapt at the creature — already contemplating how he would explain the damage to the ship later.
With a single strike, he severed the serpent’s tail cleanly from its body.
Talos followed swiftly. After ensuring the rest of the crew had a clear view of both himself and his “fit,” he sprinted along the ship’s railing before launching himself skyward — twin blades driving deep into the serpent’s flesh.
The beast thrashed violently across the deck.
In a panic, Celestia cast Minor Illusion, desperately attempting to distract the creature before it swallowed her whole.
Not a moment too soon…
Feeling the ancestral power of her draconic blood surge through her veins, Skylor raised her staff and shouted:
🔥 “Dragon’s Reprisal!” 🔥
A roaring plume of fire erupted across the deck, scorching the serpent and forcing the wounded beast back into the dark ocean depths below.
As silence finally returned to the sea, the Tidebound Company stood victorious.
Exhausted.
Slightly traumatised.
And already debating whether sea serpent tail counted as a delicacy.

Reckless Bravery thought they were going to enjoy a day of relaxation. A request came in to the guild for supporting the kingdom’s and soldiers and they answered the call, heading to the small mountain pass gate, still under upgrades, to help with evacuating and safeguarding the citizens. The orc, troll and goblin tribes united under a single banner and sent a a small force believing it would fall, but with the small garrison and Impulsive Bravery they drove back the attack.

The reports were flooding in faster than Gilan could read them…which frankly wasn’t that fast, he couldn’t read too well. The distant techamancy kingdom of Archanis had felled many cities under their merciless blade, and had set their sights on Northelm. Running out to greet their adversaries, they came face to face with Gigaton, the commander of the armies of Archanis. Morga charged in quickly and confidently, trading blows with Gigaton, their clashing blades thundering through the air.
“YOU HAVE CONFIDENCE FLESH BAG. ALLOW ME TO REMOVE IT”
And just like that, Morga’s left arm was chopped clean off.
Time seemed to stand still for Veldrek in that moment. Caring not for his own safety he rushed in to tend to her while Gilan and Evick held back the forces. Laughing maniacally, Gigaton flanked the party and rushed past with his troops to charge on the city. There would be time for a round 2 later, but for now preparations needed to be done, and upgrades built…

It started as a bright beautiful day. The city guards of Northelm stood watch, looking over the emerald green tree's. Then, like a roaring wave from the sea, knights in blue came running out of the forest with weapons drawn. The crest of an enemy kingdom to Southeast was visible for all to see. The guards quickly rang the alarm bells and adventurers from the guild rushed out of the hall. Roka knew what this meant, it was time for a real fight. She called the rest of the Bloodscale Pact to her side and they rushed out to meet the enemy head on. Despite the armies numbers, no soldier can stand up to the strength of a full party of adventurers and their teamwork. The battle raged on and soldier after soldier fell to the Bloodscale Pact. Finally, the enemy knew the battle would be lost and surrendered to the Guild.
