On this day 2yrs ago we planned the wedding of Footballer @axeltuanzebe_38 at the prestigious @claridgeshotel and it was a MOVIE š„
Each time I look at the pictures I smile! Everything about this wedding was perfect, from the venue to the vendors, decor, guests etc and ofcourse the amazing couple! Axel & Paloma were a dream to work with, I miss our catchups!
We are so honoured to have planned such a high profile wedding which had other footballers in attendance. Itās really a testament to how far we have come in business!
Not to sound cheesy but weāve gone from putting our business on Bark or Gum Tree š to planning a Footballers wedding at Claridgeās šš¾ I remember when I would pray for the clients and jobs we have now. Itās all God!!

Went to @emmagrede ās London Book Tour yesterday and honestly it was the motivation/ reset button I needed for how Iām showing up for my brand & business.
My key takeaways:
- Obsess over doing what youāre genuinely great at ā with excellence. Thatās what people remember, excellence!
- No one is watching you as closely as you are, so why are you waiting to āfeel confidentā before you launch, post, pitch or raise your rates? Confidence comes from action, not the other way around.
- Be wildly patient with your big vision, but deeply impatient with the small, brave actions you can take today ā the email, the call, the follow-up, the ask. This was invaluable advice by @jayshetty who interviewed Emma
- Because when your behaviour, standards and self-talk finally match the person and business you say you want⦠things start to shift very quickly.
- Focus on learning, not just doing ā the real edge is understanding why something works.

Spent yesterday at The Planners Table and left feeling inspired.
From discussions on building a memorable brand with @marbieskitchen ,to setting up the right processes and contingencies for your wedding business with @sophiakarisevents , to hearing how planners can better support vendors from @gtrulyweddings and @ibkmua & last but not least sound advice on running an efficient business by @damilolaonamusi_ of @dashe_uk every conversation was exactly what planners need!
No gatekeeping. Just generous, honest sharing.
My key takeaways:
- Be intentional on building a memorable brand. Your brand is what makes people stop questioning your price
- Clarity > everythingāif your ideal client canāt immediately understand who you are and what you do, youāre making it too hard for them to choose you
- People donāt buy services, they buy storiesāstop listing what you do and start showing them why it matters
- Your processes will save you time, make you more efficient and command a greater client experience
- Factor everything into your pricing, even things like childcare. Donāt go out of pocket
This is what I wish I had when I startedāa space where established planners showed up to educate, uplift, and actually help the next generation succeed.

*On the boundaries point, I have working hours - my clients know that we do not respond outside our working hours except if we have a planned meeting or if itās super close to their wedding. This works well for me and my team, it definitely helps to eliminate anxiety that comes with the job, itās done wonders for my mental health.
