Anthony Naplesが2018年にリリースした本作、個人的には名盤と思ってます。リリース時も昨年もよく聴きましたが、これまでレコードでは持っておらず、GW中に友人家族と京都で会った帰りにふらりと立ち寄ったJet Setで中古を発見しました。 2012年にMad Disrespect のデビューで（一部の人々に対して）鮮烈な印象を残してから気づけば14年。常に型にはまらず毎年面白い作品をリリースしているなと思います。今年のフルアルバムもすごく良いですね。 この作品は、セルフレーベル[Ans]からリリース、DUB/Ambient/Beatdown/Experimentalなどを包括しながら伸び伸びとしたパーソナルな空気感が漂っている点が好きですね。個人的にはAN作品の中でも特に好みの一枚です。 #vinylwtr Anthony Naples / Take Me With You (LP)

GWは私と妻ふたりとも風邪が治りきらず、遠出できず。トピックは、やっと治ったかと思った日に髪を切って友人家族と赤ちゃんに会ったくらいです（その後また悪化。）あとは辛うじて昨日MIHO MUSEUM には行きましたので、そのアピールだけしておきます。そろそろ次のパーティーに向けて動きます。

アイスランドを代表する作曲家の1人Johann Johannsson。これは2018年に48歳という若さで逝去した彼の残した楽曲を、Alice-Sara Ottがソロピアノ用に編曲・演奏したアルバムで、ここ数ヶ月よく聴いています。 Johannssonの作品は2005年くらいから折りに触れて聴いてきましたが、そのメランコリックな曲調と作家の逝去という事実が相まって少し重く感じることがありました。その点、Aliceという女性ピアニストが（おそらく意図的に、少し抑制を効かせながら）作家本人よりも柔らかいタッチで演奏することにより、なにか”救い”のようなものがより感じられて聴きやすくなっていると感じます。（クラシックの演奏家が音の一つ一つに求める解釈や解像度の高さは興味深いですが、その話はまた今度。） 坂本龍一と親交も深かったJohannsson、Opusあたり好きな人も気に入るのでは。 #vinylwtr Alice-Sara Ott / Johann Johannsson : Piano Works (2LP)

ダブテクノがリバイバルしてくれたおかげで、2008年にCDオンリーのリリースだった名盤が初アナログ化してくれました。とはいえ私はアナログ化に一年遅れで気づいたので既にどこも在庫切れ。途方に暮れていたところ、先日偶然立ち寄ったJet Setにたまたま奇跡的に再入荷していたものを発見。嬉ションしながら購入した次第です。 こちらはデトロイトの[echospace]より。Basic Channel、Rhythm &Sound、Deepchord、近年のTomiieさんのアルバムなど好きな方もぜひどうぞ。あらためて聴くと、ジャマイカの熱気とデトロイトやベルリンの冷たさがひと繋ぎに感じられる懐の深さと本気の鳴り。何言ってるか分からなくなってきたのでこの辺でやめますが、まあ素晴らしいです。※ちょっと録音が上手くいかず、サブスクでももっとクリアな鳴りで聴けるかと。 #vinylwtr Intrusion / Seduction Of Silence(2LP)

手前はMIZUNO x Vinl Archive、25の秋冬はこればっかり履いてました。奥は妻のMIZUNO。ちなみに私が小学生の時、三宮のスポーツワールドで初めて自分で選んで買った服がRUNBIRDのジャージ（90年頃まではRUNBIRDはロゴの名称ではなく、MIZUNOの展開するブランド名だった）。また中学の後半は陸上部だったので、MIZUNOさんには思い入れがあります。 #wardrobewt

(English text follows.) 1/31 Sat @cityboylounge Venue: KOFUNE SAKE BREWERY @kofune.sake Time : 20-23pm Charge: 2000Yen ( Includes 1 Sake ) DJ: CBL residents 今月末1/31(土)にいつもと違うコンセプトのパーティーやります！場所は梅田スカイビルの近くにある小舟（KOFUNE SAKE BREWERY）さんにて。私も1時間ほど、いつものダンスミュージックとは違うかたちで面白い音楽を提供できればと思っております。 詳細は後述しますが、私と古い付き合いの大人な方々も、「そういうコンセプトなら久しぶりに…」と思っていただけたら…胸熱な再会も期待しております！ぜひご検討ください！ 以下はCBLアカウントのポスト抜粋です。 KOFUNE SAKE BREWERYは、KOFUNEに所属する醸造家たちがそれぞれのお酒造りを行うシェア型の醸造所というユニークなコンセプトで呑み手が酒造りを目の前で見ながら呑めるパブが一体となった梅田スカイビル近くにある新しいスポットです。 今回、僕らもまだ手探りではありますが、少し新しいことをしたいなという気分も出てきた中、自前のMartin Audioとpowersoftを持ち込んでイベントを開催しようと思っております。今回、この機会をくださったKOFUNE SAKE BREWERYには、感謝しています。 当日は、貯蔵家の方々が丁寧につくられたお酒の世界観に負けないよう音楽とお酒が馴染んだ空間を演出できればと思っています。今回は、特別に2階のウェアハウスのエリアをお借りしています。3時間、良いお酒と音楽をゆっくり楽しんで頂ければと思っております。 We’re throwing a party with a different concept than usual at the end of this month, on Saturday 1/31! The venue is KOFUNE SAKE BREWERY, located near Umeda Sky Building. I’ll be playing for about an hour, and this time I’m hoping to share some interesting music in a slightly different way than my usual dance music sets. (Below is an excerpt from the CBL account.) KOFUNE SAKE BREWERY is a unique shared brewery where multiple brewers affiliated with KOFUNE each create their own sake. It’s combined with a pub space where you can enjoy drinks while watching the brewing process right in front of you. It’s a new spot located near Umeda Sky Building. This time, while we’re still exploring things ourselves, we felt like trying something a little new. We’ll be bringing in our own Martin Audio sound system and Powersoft amps to host this event. We’re truly grateful to KOFUNE SAKE BREWERY for giving us this opportunity. On the day, we hope to create a space where music naturally blends with the world of sake, standing alongside the carefully crafted drinks made by the brewers. For this event, we’ll be using the second-floor warehouse area as a special setup. Over three hours, we invite you to relax and enjoy good sake and good music at an unhurried pace.

I had to dash home to catch the last train for personal reasons, but I heard the afterparty was a great time — glad to hear it! Tomoki-san’s set was absolutely amazing. It was also really nice to catch up and exchange New Year’s greetings with crew members living far away and so many friends from the floor.
