This April, our President & CEO, Thomas Young (@thomasyoungpa ), is sitting down with NBA legend and Philly icon Julius “Dr. J” Erving (@juliuserving ) for a candid conversation on leadership, legacy, and what it means to build something that lasts.
GBF 2026 is where global business gets done.
If you’re looking to connect with decision-makers and take real lessons on leadership and legacy into your own business strategy, this is the room to be in.

We decided to steal this idea from our friends over at @wtcutah . 🤫
Instead of using fancy buzzwords, we let our Gen-Z Comms Director simplify what we do—because sometimes, less is more!
It was a pleasure hearing from Maria Frizelle Roberts, CEO of @mfrconsultants , a valued WTCGP member, during Friday's PNC Money Matters panel.
Hearing Maria speak about her journey, experiences, and perspective was a reminder that while progress has absolutely been made, there’s still work to do. That said, it’s easier to see a path forward when leaders like her are willing to share their stories, advocate for others, and create space for the next generation of women in business.
We’re proud to have leaders like her in our network helping shape a stronger and more inclusive business community across our region.
Global business doesn’t begin with transactions. It begins with relationships.
In today’s economy, access matters. The organizations best positioned for growth are the ones connected to strong international networks and ecosystems.
At WTCGP, membership is more than a logo on a website. It's access to global business leaders, international markets, B2B opportunities, and the relationships that drive growth beyond your immediate market.

Big congratulations to our interns, Victoria, Lukas, and Jochebed, on graduating! 🎓
Today, we’re celebrating not only the completion of their internships with WTCGP, but also this incredible milestone in their academic journeys. Their hard work, professionalism, and contributions to our team have not gone unnoticed, and we’re proud to have been part of their growth along the way.
The future is bright, and we’ll be cheering them on every step of the way.
Congratulations again!
It was truly an honor and a privilege to interview @nydiahan at the 2026 GBF Conference. Sharing that space with someone who has dedicated her career to telling meaningful stories and uplifting communities was an unforgettable experience.
Nydia has been a trusted voice in journalism for years, known for her impactful work as a consumer investigative reporter and anchor.
Being able to sit down with her, learn from her perspective, and engage in thoughtful conversation was both inspiring and humbling. Moments like these remind me why storytelling and journalism are so powerful.
A heartfelt thank you to the @wtcgp World Trade Center of Philadelphia for creating the space and opportunity for such meaningful dialogue at this year’s conference.
Access isn’t about information—it’s about proximity.
From the mainstage to B2B meetings, every conversation was designed to move beyond ideas and toward action.
Inside the B2B matchmaking sessions at the 2026 WTCA Global Business Forum, companies were connecting with partners, exploring new markets, and identifying opportunities across borders.

I’m still in awe that I got to watch my dream unfold in a way that most people thought was impossible. This past week, we showed the world what Philadelphia is capable of.
The 2026 Global Business Forum was more than a conference, it was a statement. A statement that our city belongs in the global conversation, and that we have the people, partnerships, and purpose to lead…… I’m truly grateful.
Grateful to our team at the @wtcgp and the WTCA for executing at a high level all week. Grateful to our public and private partners, our funders, and elected officials who leaned in and believed in this vision. And grateful to every delegate who traveled from around the world to do business, build relationships, and invest in what’s next.
We didn’t just host an event, we created opportunity. Real conversations, connections and pathways for businesses here to engage globally and for the world to engage with Philadelphia.
I’m proud of what we accomplished. But more importantly, I’m confident in what this sets up for our business community, our neighborhoods, and for the next generation.
This is how you position a city. And we’re just getting started!
A sincere thank you to all of our sponsors for helping make the 2026 WTCA Global Business Forum possible.
Your support helped bring global leaders, business delegates, policymakers, and innovators to Philadelphia for a week of connection, collaboration, and opportunity.
Because of your partnership, we were able to showcase our region on the world stage and create an experience worthy of this historic moment.
We are grateful for your trust, investment, and commitment to growing global business in Greater Philadelphia.
