Thank you, Toronto. Our hearts grew two sizes this weeknd. 🫶

In its time, Wrongbar was more than a club. It was a foundational space and launchpad for Toronto electronic artists and music scenes. A lot of kids grew up there. It was also a rite of passage for so many types of international artists - electronic, indie, rap wtvr. There were crazy trashy jams before commercial EDM would take over the world and before there was even that sort of industry around it all. A few friends decided to try and bring that Wrongbar energy back to the city and try a little pop-up. For no reason, we gave ourselves like three weeks to plan this 4-night series, book the acts and announce it (10 days before) lol. Our friends at Rhythm were gracious enough to host it and we had a ton of friends come to the city to play for us. We didn’t really know if anyone was going to come out or care lmao but we thought this would be a fun little thing to do over the holidays and felt like the city needed it. Turns out we all needed it. This was the vibe. Thanks to everyone that played and everyone that came to dance. I think we need to do more of these. Such an unreal experience getting to be part of night #2 on a lineup he curated over four days. I was front row for Kiinjo (AKA Grandtheft)’s DJ set at Bestival 2014 on Toronto Island, so going from that to DJing this night was honestly such a full-circle moment & the coolest way to end 2025. It also means so much to share the decks with Uffie & Al-P, because their music has always been super influential to me. TYSM to my DJ partner @jhagley & to all the party ppl who packed the place out & brought the most insane energy.
