What better way to celebrate Europe Day than through sport, teamwork, and international connections?
On May 9th, Wrocław Tech, together with partners from the European Commission Representation in Poland and ESN Wrocław Tech, brought students together for an international beach volleyball tournament full of energy, fun, and great vibes.
Nearly 50 players, 8 teams, and countless moments of fair play, laughter, and integration — proving once again that sport truly unites! 🤝

From April 13th to 17th, we hosted the International Conference on Crafting Human-Tech Society at Wrocław Tech.
Participants from Kenya, Ghana, Morocco, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Tunisia, Indonesia, Armenia, and France engaged in hands-on workshops, attended insightful conferences, and exchanged ideas on how to shape a more human-centered technological future. Beyond the academic agenda, they explored the city through a campus and city tour, and experienced one of Wrocław’s most iconic spots: Hydropolis.

New city, new friends, new adventures – let’s go! 🌍
Our new international students are already exploring Wrocław and getting ready for their very first semester at Wrocław Tech.
There are over 250 of them – 150 joining us through the Erasmus+ programme and 100 starting full-degree studies. The largest groups have arrived from Turkey, France, Spain, Ukraine and Belarus, but we’re also excited to welcome students from Mexico, Taiwan, Italy and South Korea. ✈️
As you can see, they’re already becoming friends – even if they’ve only just met. 😊
They were encouraged to make new friends, gain knowledge, and collect unforgettable experiences by prof. Kamil Staniec, Vice-Rector for Education, who officially welcomed them today during Info Day. 🎤
