A long time back, I filmed my late grandfather Ernst as he read Friedrich’s farewell letter - not knowing then what would come of this moment in time. Soon, the letter and the film will be part of the permanent exhibition at the German Historical Museum in Berlin. I had the honor to support an initiative to tackle one of the biggest crisis the US is facing - the Opioid Pandemic. This film shows an innovative approach with the goal to help people who are struggling. It’s a helpline that turns the object of addiction into a way out in the most critical moment – when they have a pill in their hand.
