Al caminar por sus rincones, entre sus muros, sus hoces y sus cuestas, siento que cada piedra susurra lo que fue y lo que puede llegar a ser.
Fue en Cuenca donde descubrí el arte como un lenguaje más íntimo que las palabras, donde aprendí que lo abstracto no es ausencia de forma, sino invitación al misterio.
Desde pequeño, al observar el cielo, los valles, la luz cambiando sobre la hoces del Huécar y el Júcar deseaba capturar algo más allá de lo visible.

I am from Cuenca, a city whose streets carry history, light, and an artistic heartbeat that has always been with me.
Walking through its corners, among its walls, its gorges, and its slopes, I feel that every stone whispers what once was and what might still become.
It was in Cuenca where I discovered art as a language more intimate than words, where I learned that abstraction is not the absence of form, but an invitation to mystery.
Since I was a child, while observing the sky, the valleys, the light shifting over the gorges of the Huécar and the Júcar, I longed to capture something beyond the visible.

AXIS AWAKENS is the result of Alvin Cruz’s residency at Casa Axis. Using artificial intelligence, the artist has transformed photographs of Casa Axis’ architecture and Felipe Pantone’s artworks into new, dreamlike, and utopian architectural compositions.
The video explores the boundaries between the real and the digital, reimagining the built space through a visual language generated by AI. It is a dialogue between design, technology, and Alvin Cruz’s artistic vision—where architecture becomes a constantly evolving canvas.
