thank you for an amazing 2025 :)
bit late to post but i wanted to recognise all the amazing people and artists we worked with last year. we put on so many amazing and memorable shows, many of them for good causes.
in total we raised and were involved in raising over £1.5K for helpful charities including: @medicalaidpal@wefeedgaza and @sudansolidaritycollective . it’s important we keep noticing these ongoing crisis and doing as much as we can to help and spread awareness.
in 2025 we also brought the fantastic @shearling__official to meanwood. which (i think) marks the first ever international touring band to play lightspace! it was such a treat to have them over.
it was lovely to also bring @computerisaband to headingley, they’re definitely ones to watch out for
id just like to give another thank you to anyone who played one of our shows or assisted in anyway. it really means a lot ❤️
lots of love, worn path

NEW SHOW | @shearling__official
Serving as a spiritual continuation of the now-defunct Sprain, Shearling exhibits the reunion of a now decade-old collaborative force between guitarists Alexander Kent and Sylvie Simmmons.
As Sprain, the band were one of the most revered bands in noise-rock. Now, as Shearling, their aggressive live performances and meticulous recordings demonstrate an ambition, audacity, and emotional vulnerability that few contemporary bands can parallel. We're incredibly excited to be welcoming the band back to Leeds in April
Tickets on sale Wednesday @10am

Even with no released material to their name, Fossick have managed to establish themselves as one of the most unique and exciting groups in recent memory. With their headline last Thursday, it felt like a culmination of every performance of theirs over the last year and it truly felt like the beginning of something special.

————————————————————-
Back in 2023 when Sprain released their sophomore album ‘The Lamb as Effigy’, there was a huge anticipation for how the band would follow it up next. Over its sprawling 90+ minute runtime, the band offers an intense blast of experimental and boundary pushing noise rock, delving into dark themes alongside ambitious structures. Shortly after the release, the band suddenly announced its split to the shock of fans and critics alike. This left a huge wonder in the air for what the band and its members would go on to do following such a big record.
Not too long after we heard first word of ‘Shearling’ a new group formed with frontman Alex Kent and guitarist Sylvie Simmons and eventually the announcement of their debut album ‘Motherfucker, I Am Both: “Amen” and “Hallelujah”…’ Running over an hour in length with a singular title track, the record goes even deeper into the darker themes they have explored before. It’s a crushing listen with explosive noise and intense performances from everyone involved.
The band will be playing the album in full on their first ever trip to Leeds this September. Taking place at the independently run Lightspace in Meanwood, the gig will be an amazing experience to catch the group and their earth shattering live show in a small DIY environment.

Who’s playing Worn Path?
NORMAL VILLAGE @normalvillage
10:20PM
Worn Path is being gracefully headlined by the new kids on the block over at normal village. A cathartic blast of emotional, angular and ferocious post-punk - this Leeds based quartet is pushing the genre into an extremely fun and exciting place. Their live set is tight, melodically dense and rhythmically complex making them an absolute blast to see off the evening.
