What’s in the water up in Leeds hey? Good songwriting chops, that’s what. Neve Cariad is an ace songwriter, that’s for sure, blending fragile folk with rocking psychedelic – somewhere between Sandy Denny and Crazy Horse but totally its own thing. MBS – must be seen.

Woah... Raucous, mathy, sludgy, popoid groovy noise assault from these young Leedsian whizz kids, featuring Spike Elwell of, well, Elwell for round 2 at OMF. Think Polvo wrestling Codeine while Big Black jeer at them. Works? Works.
