In this Melbourne workshop, you’ll get the low down on repairing and restoring your favourite reads. We’ll cover how to properly assess the damage, how to tone paper to match the original, various methods for repairing broken/crumbling spines as well as paper repair.

Our recent Beauty in Mending kintsugi workshop in Melbourne brought together the most beautiful energy.
There was something so powerful about sitting together and carefully piecing broken ceramics back together with gold. Kintsugi is all about honouring the cracks rather than hiding them, a concept that felt so deeply connected to our community.
So many of us know what it feels like to be cracked open by life, illness and uncertainty, but this event was such a beautiful reminder that there can still be beauty in what has been broken and that our stories, scars and experiences become part of who we are.
