Working ~ adjective used to refer to an idea that is not complete or adopted to permit or facilitate further work or activity: a working draft Classics ~ plural noun work(s) of art of recognised and established value Working Classics is the brainchild of Liverpool-based DJ & producer Shauna. Shauna set up the label out of frustration with the current state of the industry and the lack of opportunities and support available for minority artists. Bursting with playful energy and joy, Working Classics is inspired by the vibrancy of queer dance floors, such as Love Muscle, Drip, and AGEOFTHE. Places where she feels most free, Shauna wanted to encapsulate the spirit of these parties within the label. Her aim is to create a diverse and inclusive space where artists are free to experiment and push their art into directions unknown without ever feeling confined by the mainstream.
