The same billionaires who own secret bunkers to survive climate collapse are producing the most carbon emissions...*screams into pillow* New research from @oxfaminternational has found that the “climate inequality crisis” is only worsening, with America’s super-rich running down our planet’s safe climate space at 183 times the rate of the global average. 😡😡😡 Feel angry? 👉 Turn it into action 👈 If you work for a corporation, you and your colleagues have the power to shift the machine that fuels the super-rich, from the inside. Your collective voice has the potential to be very loud. 🔊 🔗 Sign up to our newsletter via link in bio to get going.

We're trying to answer one the biggest questions of our time...💭 Can we really scale AI technology in a way that is safe for the planet? Last week in Sydney, we met with curious employees from diverse industries to combine insights on this very this question at Local Hubs by WorkforClimate. Did we solve the equation? 🤔 Not yet...(it is a very juicy topic to cover in a lunch break). But we did ignite the start of something even more powerful than AI. ✨ Honest conversation ✨ In-person, human connection ✨ A shared third space ✨ Breaking the spiral of silence that surrounds climate action Because if we are to solve the climate crisis and harness the power of AI for good, we are going to need to right people talking, collaborating and agitating for change from the inside. 🌏

Here's the uncomfortable truth about "ethical capitalism"... 🛍️ ICYMI @patagonia (the leading business in ethical consumption) has just released its first ever Impact Report. Let's break it down ⬇️ 🏭 Patagonia’s emissions have gone up 25% in 2025 compared to 2017. In other words, it is moving in the opposite direction from its goal of Net Zero by 2040. 🥤Patagonia uses 80% plastic to make its clothes. 80% of that comes from recycled materials, but mostly from plastic bottles – which inevitably end up in landfill, while indirectly increasing demand for virgin plastic. 🧦 Patagonia is committed to ensuring living wages for all workers in its partner factories, but currently only 39% of factories are paying this living wage. 🌎 Still, it is doing most of the right things: looking to improve every aspect of its environmental and social impact, owning this impact, and being radically transparent. 👉 It's doing better than 99% of companies. And yet, is still not sustainable. 👈 That’s because the game is rigged. And none of us win if we don't change the rules. With that in mind, as Christmas approaches, maybe instead of buying better we can be buying less. 🎄

But above all, the world needs dreamers who do.” Interested in joining the Academy next year and becoming a dreamer who does? Register your interest via the link in our bio. ☁️

Here's how to get started today: 1️⃣ Put on a climate lens. Do you work in finance? Push for ethical investments. Logistics? Pick low-carbon suppliers. Marketing? Spotlight sustainability wins. 2️⃣ Find your people. Start a climate chat with coworkers. Chances are, they're just as worried as you are. Turn that chat into a group, and suddenly, leadership has a movement it can't ignore. 3️⃣ Email HR. Ask if your company's default super fund invests in fossil fuels. If it does, send them ethical alternatives. Just like that, one small email can have a huge ripple effect. #BREAKING Australia (the world’s second-biggest thermal coal exporter) would lose one of its largest international customers following #COP30 announcement. 🌏 This week, in Brazil, #SouthKorea announced that it was joining the “Powering Past Coal Alliance”, a group of about 60 nations and 120 sub-national governments, businesses and organisations committed to phasing out fossil fuel. ⛔ Bad news for Australian fossil fuel exporters 🥳 GREAT news for the climate The global market is moving beyond fossil fuels and towards cleaner, cheaper energy alternatives. Now is the time to pivot to low-emission industries, support regional partners and adapt at the speed and scale required to replace the inevitable loss of income from coal. 🌱

Corporate climate action can LITERALLY be as simple as sending an email. Could your company be using a default superannuation/pension fund that funds fossil fuels? Could you easily find out by asking them? Could you influence them to switch to climate-friendly alternatives? Yes, yes and YES. As the old proverb goes: if you don’t ask, you don’t get. Send 👏 that 👏 email.

Is @zohrankmamdani 's landslide victory proof that US voters still care about climate action? We vote yes. ❤️‍🔥 💚 Mamdani's mayoral campaign focussed on affordability in NYC, noting that climate action and quality of life go hand in hand. 🗳️ More than 2 million New Yorkers voted for the future of their city (the most in a mayoral race since 1969). 🚌 Voters backed Mamdani on renewables, lowering energy costs, and building out mass transit. ☀️ @Grist argue that the results suggest a wider voter push back against President Donald Trump’s efforts to roll back climate action.

3 things #CEOs and #billionaires can learn from @billieeilish ❤️‍🔥 1️⃣ Use your platform for good 👉 calling out billionaires (in a room of them) for not doing more with their money for people and planet. 2️⃣ Put your money where your mouth is 👉 donating $11.5 million from tour earnings to organisations combatting the climate crisis. 3️⃣ Boldly speaking your truth > following the status quo 👉 asking on the world stage: with all this power and influence, why aren’t you doing more? What’s your hottake? 🔥 #BillieEilish #MusicAwards #MarkZuckerberg #ElonMusk
