Wolverine Worldwide — led by president and CEO Chris Hufnagel — has reemerged as a formidable player, thanks to a new, more-focused brand-building model that is paying off, most notably at Saucony, where sales increased 40 percent in the second quarter; and at Merrell, which saw sales rise 10.7 percent during the same time.

Today, we reported our first-quarter 2026 financial results, and are pleased to share, “the team delivered a solid start to 2026, with first quarter revenue, gross margin, and earnings per share all exceeding our expectations,” according to Chris Hufnagel, President and Chief Executive Officer.
1Q26 results compared 1Q25 include:
➡️ Total revenue of $457.6 million, up 11% year-over-year (YoY)
➡️ Saucony’s net sales of $155.9, up 20.1% YoY
➡️ Merrell’s net sales of $169.7 million, up 12.7% YoY
