Three Sweet Gloom shows this week opening for @the_american_steel and I’d love to see you there. Wednesday in Sacramento at Old Ironsides, Friday in San Pedro at the Sardine, and on Saturday, at my favorite venue in the world, Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco. (It’ll be one of the last times I’ll ever get to play there and I am heartbroken it’s closing). SF is sold out, so you’re SOL probably, but come to Sac and San Pedro so they can sell out too. Tokyo 2026, all on film. I’m back from Japan but I sure don’t want to be. Endlessly grateful to my dear friend @lizzietrouble for having me play bass in @teensintrouble for this trip. So lucky to play music with her, @henry_chadwick_music , and to still be playing music with @simcastro2 all these years later. So happy to spend this time with @dogparty and watch them crush in another country. So grateful to everyone we played with, that helped with the shows, and that put up with us being clueless Americans. Heaven is truly a Japanese 711. またね ♥️

Going to JAPAN next week to play bass for @teensintrouble and I couldn’t be more excited. Got a brand new @fender P bass for the occasion, and the “P” stands for pink. Endlessly grateful to my dear friend @lizzietrouble for bringing me along, letting me to rock with her all over the world, and also allowing me to constantly balance beverages on her head. It really means the world to me (mostly the bev thing) and I couldn’t be happier to be along for the ride. Bonus picture of the first time I went to Japan with my brothers in @stickupkidca 75,000 years ago. I love Lizzie, I love Sim and Henry, I love rock and roll, and I love going to Japan with my friends.

2025- started in Miami, ended in Miami. Toured a bunch with Pool Kids and Spiritual Cramp. Played a bunch of shows in Sweet Gloom and Teens in Trouble. Saw monster trucks. Saw my brother play MSG and on The Tonight Show. Saw my friends get engaged. Saw multiple other friends get married. Made a record. Spent time with people I love all over the country. Met Dave Grohl lol. Did a lot of karaoke, sold a thousand t shirts, packed a million pins, watched a billion movies, listened to a trillion songs. I love you so much more than you know. In 2026 I hope to remain at large. See you around.
I’m playing two shows this week and if you don’t go to them I’ll be devastated. Rocking Thursday December 11th at Permanent Records with Sweet Gloom and we’re gonna gonna tear you to shreds. Some film from the Pool Kids headliner🫶 It’s no secret I love Pool Kids and Ron with my whole heart; I feel very lucky to be out with people I love and believe in, and am proud to be their guy at the table. It never feels like work, and I miss them immensely already. I’ve been home for just under a week and I don’t know what to do with myself; I wish I was waking up too early to spend endless time in a van decorated for fall ♥️ PK, Truth Club, Pony, and Roniac, I love you all ❤️🔥

There’s more to say, but finishing up six weeks on the road (with people so dear to me) with three days at the fest (surrounded by even more people I love) is quite the one-two punch. Andy, Caden, Christine, Nicolette, Ron, I love you five with all of my heart, and I don’t have the words to tell you how glad I am I got to spend this time with you. Pool Kids will go the distance, and I’m so proud to have been on the journey. To all my friends I saw at The Fest, I couldn’t have asked for a better time with such wonderful people and I’m sorry we didn’t get to hang even more. I love you all, there will be more later ♥️
The fifth best merch guy on earth (me) is back with the very best band in the world (Pool Kids) for their fall headliner starting this week!!! There are no words to describe how much I love these four people and I couldn’t be happier to be back on the road with them. “Easier Said Than Done” is a perfect record and it makes me cry, so come buy a copy from me at one of the gigs over the next six weeks!!!
