Wolf Jaipur @wolfjaipur is a studio and art collective run by Ritu @thefarmritu and Surya Singh. It started as a way to reuse and repurpose materials from their surroundings and has grown into a full-time creative practice. They work instinctively, making and experimenting every day, moving pieces around, layering, reading, and connecting ideas. The studio is lively and full of activity, and that energy is part of the process. They don’t wait for inspiration to strike. Instead, they make, explore, and figure it out along the way. Over time, their work comes together and takes shape naturally. To watch the full video and learn more about their process, tap the link in bio. What does a garden look like when it's built from what we've thrown away? GUL at @47a.design answered that question with scrap metal, sacred thread, zari sari, vintage glass beads, jewellery and an imagination that refuses to accept loss as final. The piece that stopped me completely - Prayers for the Garden - a prayer mat stitched entirely from ruins. And then there was the charbagh. Regal, layered, commanding - and allegedly born from a torn bedcover. That detail made me love it even more. The fact that something so quietly majestic began as something discarded felt like the whole point of the exhibition, said without words. I stood there for a long time. The ceiling installation - that sweeping mirror-work pavilion - I won't lie, I wanted to bring it home for my dining table. Some art makes you want to live inside it. This is what art does when it's doing its job. It makes you grieve and hope in the same breath. 🌿 @47a.design @wolfjaipur #ArtExhibition #ArtLovers #SlowDiary #DMforCollab

A gateway, not just an artwork. With Freedom Gateway, @wolfjaipur reimagines the Preamble as a space you walk through — a threshold into justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. This Republic Day, we’re remembering India’s first Constitution Museum @cmrfa.jgu , which is located at @jindalglobaluni curated with love by Cultre. 🇮🇳

I went to an art show yesterday by Wolf studio from Jaipur @wolfjaipur . Ritu and Surya Singh, it’s been a while since I have been enraptured and moved by artists who have used scrap and waste to tell a story we as Indians need to hear. The hidden language in flowers, the message that we need Nature in our hearts, and only our hands to do the work. The Eye for an eye, a Rose by any other name is still a Rose. The hand down to the bone holding a bouquet. For those interested it’s on till Feb @47a.design Thank you @srilachatterjee for bringing this and inviting me.
