This morning’s Art in Mind -Wellbeing workshop - felt truly special. It was such a joy to welcome 4 participants into a calm and creative space where everyone could slow down, breathe, connect and create freely together. Thank you so much to Nick from @wlmind for the warm support and presence throughout the session. We began gently with a short meditation and sharing space, before moving into intuitive art-making with colours, textures and personal expression. After a short break, participants explored painting onto existing canvases and images: transforming, layering, reclaiming and creating something new from what already existed. There was something deeply moving in witnessing each person finding their own rhythm, imagination and quiet presence through the creative process. ✨ Tomorrow there is another free session 📍 @livat 🕒 3–6pm The workshop includes: • grounding meditation • welcoming sharing space • gentle creative guidance • intuitive art-making • painting on existing paintings/canvases No art experience needed — just come as you are. It's @mentalhealthfoundation @mindcharity Mental Health Awareness Week 2026! Approximately twenty percent of adults across the UK have a commonplace mental health condition like depression or anxiety. The percentage is higher within the 16-24 age bracket. Moreover, each year, there are millions of days lost in the UK’s workplace because of issues associated with mental health. This means that just about everybody knows people who are affected by poor mental health, whether friends, relatives, or colleagues. Raising awareness remains a vital, long-term goal. This years theme is Take Action, so anything that helps to make a person feel more hopeful, positive and respected is a significant step to making a difference. #MHAW #mentalhealthawarenessweek #WestLondon #TakeAction #wlMind #Mind

A meaningful moment from London Art Exchange. We were honoured to gift a special Mr Phantom artwork to West London Mind in support of the incredible work they continue to do for mental health across the community. Art has the power to open conversations, create connection, and give people a space to feel understood and we’re proud to be part of that journey. 🤍
