Twice voted most likely to play SpottieOttieDopaliscious at any shindig, Dundee stalwart Duncan Barton aka DUNC4N brings a genre hopping selection that’s as likely to dip into golden era boom bap as it is to detour into deep grooves, edits and bass-driven weirdness.
Behind the scenes and screens at Dundee institution The Reading Rooms, as part of the Boomin’ System, Check The Rabbit and later CRAYON crews was responsible for bringing forward-thinking artists like kidkanevil, Mount Kimbie, SOPHIE, Jon K, Jon Phonics, Jon1st (…loads of Jons for some reason?!) to Dundee; and of course throwing infamous House / Hip Hop / Other Stuff parties with local legend Ken Swift. Since spotted supporting mighty turntablist DJ KRUSH and sound system champs Mungo’s Hi-Fi.

It was a bittersweet relief working on @vadundee ‘Night Fever’ stuff as clubland was suffering so much during lockdown. After too many months of silence I was near greetin’ hearing some loud Techno at the exhibition.
