Brighton pier has had a number of names over the years but when opened in May 1899 after 3 years of construction it was called "Brighton Marine Palace and Pier". It cost a record £27,000 to build, hence the edition size of the artwork and included 3000 lights to illuminate. As well as the standard run there is also 5AP's that come in a union jack embellished frame as a nod to one of the UK's most iconic landmarks.
As well as JJ's fast approaching show, the pier is now once again up for sale, making it the ideal time to add this to your collection.
