Met my old friend from Istanbul, the person who helped me to have a kickstart on my psytrance event production journey in 2012, and one of the first renowned #psytrance DJs of Turkey; @tmx_mind , after exactly a decade in Spain!
We’ve known each other since the legendary Soulclipse Festival in Antalya in 2006, during a solar eclipse. That festival made history in the Turkish underground scene and completely changed the country’s music culture.
At that festival, he made a promise to himself, and watching him honour that promise over the years has been truly inspiring. The promise was to keep that one-of-a-kind psychedelic trance gathering experience alive in Turkey.
Along the way, he taught and inspired many people who are now organisers themselves, including me. He has given opportunities to countless artists and DJs from all over the world, across around a thousand indoor and outdoor events he has organised.
He is an important figure in the global psytrance scene, and I wish him all the best of health and happiness on his journey.

What a year it’s been! Grateful for every dancefloor, every promoter, and everyone who showed up and shared the energy.
