I scouted Jill 11 years ago, in front of a club in Amsterdam where I was working at the door.
It was love at first sight, easily being one of the most beautiful and fun people I’ve ever met.
She was the first model we signed, and her presence and success, is such a big part of what became The Movement Models.
Happy to have you as a friend.

Years a go we did a model search with ELLE, and we had an incredible turn up.
For a month we had a dependance at Amsterdam CS, thanks to PUP, and for the entirety anyone with the ambition to model could walk in for a casting.
One day Souda walked in, one of the most beautiful people we had ever seen.
Souda is what The Movement Models embodies; standing 1.68 m tall, she often is the exception to the rule.
Working for Chanel, Burberry, and Hermes and with a Vogue and ELLE cover under her belt, is a huge and rare accomplishment in an industry dictated by measurements.

What better way to wish you all the happiest holidays and a banging new year with @_arnelle for the @michaelkors holiday campaign out now.
We will be back in office after the holiday break.
Thank you for alle the love and beautiful opportunities in 2025.
Much love,
The Movement Models
CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF THE MOVEMENT MODELS! 🥂
Huge thank you to all the models we get to build this agency and movement with.
You truly are challenging and changing what it means and looks like to be a model.
So proud of you all, past, present and future.
And of course, so much gratitude to all the clients, casting directors, agents and creative teams we get to work with.
Can’t wait to see what the future holds; for now, we proudly would like to share some of our highlights:
1. A selection of our favorite campaigns.
2. Seeing Laura Beuger her Celine campaign everywhere.
3. A selection of some of our favorite shows.
4. Hakim Pietro’s incredible runways.
5. A selection of some of our favorite shows part two the remix.
6. Jill Kortleve as the Chanel couture bride.
7. A selection of some of our favorite covers.
8. 20 Vogue covers ?! Including Jill landing the big four.
9. Movement girl gang for the Vogue NL cover.
10. Our first branding concept, 10 years ago, a website with only polaroids.
11. Working with your amazing friend is the best.
After what looked like an upward trajectory, false hope is truly the number one trend this season.
We saw an unbelievable drop in body inclusivity, while straight size models are skinnier than ever.
The message from the few who dictate what beauty can be is clear:
“Your body is a trend, Your health is not a priority”.
Once again, we are in a place where we should never have been.
Our hope is that the agencies at least show up and represent models of different sizes, even when casting directors are not looking and clients are not booking.
When the agencies offer options, we can offer solutions; a way to push forward, a way to inspire.
Thank you to this amazing team:
