Before there was Winter Party Festival, there was a spark. And for us, that spark came from the sand.
Winter Party was born from a dream of gathering our community in joy, music, movement, and purpose — but that dream did not appear out of nowhere. Our original founders were inspired in part by the magic of Fire Island’s legendary Morning Party, the original iteration of what would become Pines Party: a sunrise celebration where queer people came together on the beach, under the open sky, in full expression of who they were.
That spirit helped shape what Winter Party would become: a dance floor as sanctuary, a party as protest, a weekend as chosen family, and a beach where liberation could be felt in the body.
From the Pines to Miami Beach, from sunrise to sunset and back again, these gatherings have always been more than parties. They are part of our shared history. They are proof that queer joy has always been visionary, that nightlife has always been community infrastructure, and that the dance floor has always held something sacred.
That is why we are proud to celebrate and support Pines Party 2026: The Year of the Altar Ego.
Because the alter ego has always been part of queer survival: fantasy, armor, glamour, rebellion, release — the version of ourselves we dare to become when the music hits and the people around us understand without explanation.
@pinesparty continues a legacy that helped inspire Winter Party’s own beginning — and in 2026, that legacy evolves once again.
So consider this your invitation from one iconic beach tradition to another: follow the music, follow the history, and find the version of yourself waiting to be unleashed.
Pines Party is calling. And this year, your Altar Ego has plans, baby.
