Seize the moment! ------ 文｜葉佳蓉 「打鐵計劃」系列於2019年由藝術家許雁婷發起，主要研究對象是臺北曾繁華一時的打鐵街－興城街，曾經因為拆船產業的零件集散需求而聚集的金屬加工業者，隨著產業轉型以及城市擴張面臨逐漸退場的命運，近年打鐵街的範圍逐漸縮小，都更浪潮之下街區景色不復以往。本計畫曾階段性發表於台北國際藝術村、打開當代藝術空間、覓計畫空間以及其他平台，本次於臺北數位藝術中心推出的「再見」展覽及演出，將為打鐵計劃最完整呈現。 1950、60年代，全球正在戰後復甦，臺灣位處太平洋戰爭的戰略位置，沿岸各大港口累積不少戰毀沈船，隨蔣介石政府播遷來台的江河輪船也因臺灣河流沒有航行條件而逐漸報廢，在這個背景之下拆船產業逐漸成長茁壯，拆船而來的廢棄鐵料、鋼板等，流入廢五金市場，廢料再製與機器維修的需求讓投身從事打鐵的師傅們也越來越多，從拆船引發的效應刺激了臺灣的鋼鐵產業，國內戰後的建設和經濟發展的鋼鐵需求，也讓鋼鐵產業更加蓬勃。1970到1990是打鐵街最風華的年代，臺北的打鐵街因為鄰近大稻埕碼頭和雙連火車站，乘交通地利之便而興起，範圍最大曾經從臺北車站的後站沿著承德路一直綿延到興城街，爾後隨著承德路的道路拓寬，鐵工廠才逐漸搬遷到興城街、赤峰街等巷弄之中。 許雁婷在打鐵街出生，在五金材料行和小型鐵工廠之間渡過孩童時期，雖然七歲就隨長輩舉家搬遷，切割金屬時強烈的閃光和磨合金屬零件潤滑油的味道，依稀流淌在藝術家記憶深處，讓她無法就此離開這塊土地。成年之後再回到打鐵街，藝術家想探討的並不是幼年回憶，而是從一間一間五金行和鐵工廠之間，她看見了國際情勢和政策需求的大敘事之下，反映在城市當中的街區樣貌與屬於市民們的生活經驗。藉由打鐵師傅的訪談、打鐵行業的脈絡梳理、以及都市更新政策的推展，許雁婷搜集了許多共同經歷產業盛衰的生命故事；而鋼鐵金屬的物質特性，加工時產生的各種光影聲響，也成為她創作時參照的對象。 本次於臺北數位藝術中心的展出將包含聲響物件裝置、動態影像、以及文件的展出，許雁婷推進至今不同階段累積的創作，串起完整展覽敘事。展出作品《不息》開宗明義地說明了所有的傳統都會更新，所有的當代在未來也會變成傳統，都市地貌的變更或產業經濟的變更都可以視為一種形式的轉化，蘊含其中由人類活動所驅動的能量不會就此熄滅，作品透過聲音與金屬物件的物理性去表現能量的傳遞與轉換。作品《一瞬》則聚焦在打鐵產業本身，鐵件金屬的拆卸重組伴隨強烈的熱能和光線，而作品藉由閃耀的光線，象徵曾經撐起島嶼經濟的力量。由藝術家聲線和資料檔案交織剪輯的雙頻道影像《再見打鐵街》則將歷年來於現場蒐集到的影像紀錄、人物訪談和新聞資料作為藍圖，撰寫出全新文本，提供觀眾連結現場的想像。藉由「再見－打鐵計畫」，藝術家希望以創作的方式轉化在經濟發展洪流中曾經擁有一頁閃亮篇章的打鐵產業，也希望藉由好好的道別，共同將產業變遷與都市發展的過程留在市民你我的腦海之中。 共同創作：黃嘉文、廖笠安 策展人：葉佳蓉 影像拍攝：風宗廷 3D掃描影像：陳乂 燈光互動技術設計：陳智彥 技術顧問：王新仁 平面設計：吳學宜、楊榛榛 影音佈展：無名小鎮工作室 展場木作：侑森室內裝修工程有限公司 佈展協力：高子玄、林歆倫 協辦單位：臺北數位藝術中心 特別感謝：三協熔接所、永欣電動吊車行、福億企業行、宜鉅企業社、正祥齒輪、上杰鋼鐵、祥禾齒輪行、友銓企業社、台北國際藝術村、打開—當代藝術工作站、洪建全基金會、鳳甲美術館、狠主流多媒體&狠劇場、囝仔人、林濬璈、孫于甯、謝杰樺、葉倫會、許志鴻、劉永明、許秀玲、許金才、李月娥

《O​-​ksi​氣​-​2》by Rani Jambak and Yenting Hsu. Released by Yes No Wave Music. In 2021 Open Contemporary Art Center Taipei @ocac_tw invited Rani Jambak @ranijambak (Indonesia) and Yenting Hsu @winter_ting (Taiwan) for an online residency project "∀ Flλ ≡nters. ∥mmense βreath of ⊥he ∫ea：ℝesidency”. Come from different countries and cultures, they exchange ideas and sounds through conversations, and explore the similarities and differences between each other. Both of them use sound as a medium to find their own history and discuss various issues. Among many issues, they both care about environments and nature in different approaches. It's a sound exploration on two different soundscapes of city and nature from Taiwan and Medan, North Sumatra. Experimenting many style of composition, Rani and Yenting collaborate in different type of production by sharing their sound collections and mixing each sound back and forth. Navya Rudrappa (Sitar) & Yenting Hsu (Electronics) Concert Entry Free or On Donation 

 Navya Rudrappa is a Bangalore-based sitar player. Primarily a solo performer pursuing Hindustani Classical music, she is also keen on working with practitioners from different artistic backgrounds and has collaborated with musicians and artistes from across genres. Her varied interests in the creative field including theatre, literature, architecture and photography have led her to explore different avenues through the sitar. Yenting Hsu - Using sound as primary creation medium, Yenting Hsu investigates the cultural context and texture of sounds. Her works often reflect the relationship between sounds, environment, individual and/or collective memories and emotions. Interweaving field recordings with electronic sounds and objects, Hsu keeps exploring and experimenting documentary and fiction / narrative and imaginary elements of recorded sounds. Mixing with other art mediums and artistic disciplines, Hsu creates installations, performances, audio documentaries, electroacoustic music, and more. This week, we are highlighting the work of Yenting Hsu, from the Therapeutic Auditory Tell Tales sound series.  Sound Artist Yenting Hsu (@winter_ting ) draws on years of creative work and research with Gods and water, and connects the lives and legends of the Goddesses. “Tune to Goddesses” is a multi-chapter series of first-person narratives with accompanying sound composition. This work speculates an uncanny similarity between artists and goddesses, for “embracing vanishing stories and turning hatred into joy.”  Inspired by various goddess temples in Tainan, Yenting reinterprets and reimagines Taoist traditions and goddess myths from around the world. Gestern Abend wurde die Toskana Therme Bad Schandau zum Schauplatz eines magischen Erlebnisses ✨🌊🌕 Während der Mond sich in ein tiefes Kupferrot verwandelte, schuf die taiwanesische Klangkünstlerin Yenting Hsu ein Unterwasserkonzert, das Himmel, Wasser und Klang miteinander verband. Ein Abend zwischen den Welten – so selten und faszinierend wie die Mondfinsternis selbst.

So. 7.9.25, 19:00 Uhr Residenz-Vollmondkonzert mit Yenting Hsu (Taiwan) und Seljuk Rustum (Indien) - Blutmond und Mondfinsternis Liquid Sound Tempel · Toskana Therme Bad Schandau Einmalige Konstellationen verlangen nach einmaligen Klängen: Am Abend des 7. September 2025 taucht die Toskana Therme Bad Schandau in ein besonderes Licht – und in einen noch außergewöhnlicheren Klangraum. Während sich über unseren Köpfen der Mond vollständig verdunkelt und als leuchtend rötlicher Blutmond durch den Nachthimmel zieht, erleben die Gäste des Liquid Sound Tempels eine Komposition, die diesen kosmischen Moment klanglich umarmt. Die taiwanesische Klangkünstlerin Yenting Hsu ist als Artist-in-Residence für 2 Monate zu Gast im C.Rockefeller Center Dresden und im Tonstudio des Künstlerhaus Bad Schandau / Forplay Society. Während ihrer Residenz entwickelt sie zusammen mit Seljuk Rustum ein immersives Unterwasserkonzert, das auf das spezielle Soundsystem der Therme abgestimmt ist. Ihre Komposition verbindet Naturklänge, elektroakustische Texturen und poetische Feldaufnahmen – für ein Hörerlebnis, das unter Wasser wie zwischen den Welten erklingt. Das Konzert beginnt um 19.30 Uhr. Die totale Mondfinsternis entfaltet sich während des Konzerts – ein seltener kosmischer Moment, der das Baden im Licht und Klang des Vollmonds in ein magisches Ritual verwandelt. Eintritt mit gültiger Thermenkarte. Das Konzert findet im Rahmen des Artist-in-Residence Austauschprogramms zwischen dem Netzwerk Medien Kunst / DresdenContemporaryArt e.V., dem Treasure Hill Artist Village Taipeh und dem Goethe-Institut Taipei statt. Es ist eingebettet in die Workshop- und Konzertreihe "SONAR - Die Welt ist Klang" des Vereins zur Förderung von Kunst und Kultur im ländlichen Raum Sachsen e.V.
