Still truly hard to believe. From a single midnight rainy mile back in 2020, to a Final Mile day event attended by 100+ running along family and friends. This year we ended with over $100,000 in donations for the fourth year in a row, finally breaking $500,000 in all time fundraising in only our 6th year. There are too many people to thank, the donors, Final Mile attendees, the Miles for MSA participants, the team at
@mission.msa and the strong individuals battling this horrific condition everyday. A special thank you to
@johnlegere and his family foundation for all time giving exceeding $200,000, the Mauri and Casey-Pritchet families for extremely generous donations themselves. The Lake Foundation band, our F&B sponsors
@returnbrewing @hudsonchathamwinery @breezytea @cocktails.elitemobilebar and everyone that help us set up and execute the Final Mile event and the entire month. As I’ve always said, the fundraiser is what I’m most proud of, seeing all the 4U foundation hats and purple Miles for MSA shirts makes me extremely happy. I’ll never stop, and I truly believe in my lifetime I’ll get to see the 25 year old kid like I was, get news his father has MSA and he won’t shed a tear because there will be a cure. An AWESOME video by
@q29video and more about this event and our non-profit The 4U Foundation can be found on the website in my bio. #the4Ufoundation #MilesforMSA #FinalMile #CopakeLake #defeatMSA
