With a shout out to our city’s “college town spirit,” the 2025 report from Resonance Research touted a buzzing community, ample green spaces and walkability, and easy access to NYC, noting: “The ‘Queen City of the Hudson’ has all the magnetism that would tempt a big-city cash-out: a peaceful, safe downtown, college town spirit, and historic architecture.”
Sounds like the perfect home base for our thriving university!

This year we celebrate the biggest graduating class in Marist Italy's history who are now, as said by graduating student Theodore Lance, "the most prepared in our lives to succeed in this new adventure, this new world, a world that now feels smaller than it was, more approachable."
This year we honor 26 graduates for the year 2026. 20 years of partnership with Istituto Lorenzo de Medici, and 20 years of students transforming themselves through a Marist University education provided in the classroom of Florence.

State-of-the-Art Home for Science and Health 🫀🏢🩺
A new, 100,000-square-foot Science and Health building will anchor Marist’s ambitious Science and Health Initiative, providing cutting-edge resources for teaching, research, and collaboration!
Early designs envision a building that connects seamlessly to Marist’s existing Allied Health facility and serves as the launchpad for new ideas and innovation across the science and health professions, creating a fully integrated Science and Health Complex (tripling the size of our current facility).
We’re working with town leaders and planning officials on required approvals in hopes of a groundbreaking this fall and targeted opening during the 2028-29 academic year.

We’re launching a major Science and Health Initiative! This is a long-term strategy and $100 million investment that will position Marist as a destination for students seeking rigorous academic preparation and career pathways in high-demand fields.

🥼 Attracting exceptional students and faculty
🏢 Investing in modern facilities that advance team-based learning, research, and discovery
