Fluid Pictures Visualizes NASA’s Historic Return to the Moon in "Artemis II: To the Moon and Back"
Fluid Pictures is proud to announce its latest collaboration with Windfall Films, providing the centrepiece visual effects for the Discovery Channel documentary special, Artemis II: To the Moon and Back.
The one-hour special offers an unprecedented, "inside-the-capsule" look at NASA’s first crewed mission around the moon in over half a century.
Visualizing the Deep Space Journey, Tasked with bringing the mission's most critical moments to life, Fluid Pictures created the intricate space sequences of the Artemis II craft. Utilizing a high-end Maya pipeline, our team produced the CGI for the vessel’s deep-space flight and its pivotal lunar flyby.
Working under the direction of Martin Gorst at Windfall Films, Fluid Pictures focused on delivering a level of technical accuracy and imagery befitting such a significant moment in history.
