endings & beginnings, new friends & old, many many fun creative projects 💫 wincel’s annual year in review / as hard as this year was, can’t help but feel thankful for all the people i got to meet & experiences i got to have here’s to 2026 ✨

after years of simon pestering me about starting our own thing, last year the 3 of us started a lit fuse productions - with one of our goals of providing a third space for creatives (whether starting out or stacked of years of experience) to let their creativity shine & give them the courage to express themselves creatively. Last night, we put on our first ever theatre production - with a cast & crew of over 20 people & brought to life “The Importance of Being Sachin”. The reception from the audience was incredibly heartwarming, it made months of hard work & running on fumes so much worth it. It reminded me of how important the arts were: a third space for anyone to express themselves creatively, to fail freely & to find their own community Thank you so much to everyone who took time out of their day to come & watch the show. For laughing as hard as you did, partying along with us. Your presence tells us how important it is we continue telling stories & spotlight ethnically diverse creatives. Thank you so much to our cast, dancers & crew for being so patient with the 3 of us! Choosing to sacrifice time out of your weekends/ weekdays to rehearse with us. You’ve all brought so much color and vibrance to Sachin. I couldn’t have imagined a better bunch to work with. It fills me with so much joy to see how you guys react to your own performance. You guys should be so proud of yourselves & the work that you put in! Lastly, Simon & Rohit - you two are insane. I know we’re not really sentimental with each other, we’re always very jokey hee hee haa haa & most times I’m always a naysayer. But we did it!!!!!! & although i am the way i am - i can’t wait to do it all over again in another project ❤️ I’m very proud of you two :’) Thank you for believing in me when I hardly believe in myself! i know now the vital importance of being earnest 🤪 time for me to hibernate for 48 hours & process everything that happened 🧍‍♀️

Meet Wincel - jack of all trades, master of some 🤹🏽‍♀️ She’s our designer & coproducer for our theatrical adaptation of the Oscar Wilde classic “The Importance of Being Earnest” +++ Wincel is a Filipino(-Hongkonger) born & raised in the city. A creative slasher by profession; outside of her day job - she enjoys delving into different artistic projects. After co-founding ‘a lit fuse productions’, she’s excited to bring their first ever theatre production as a group; in collaboration with HKSTG, where she has built most of her theatrical experience (on & off stage) from. +++ She hopes she’s able to bring out the colorful world of Sachin through her designs & we hope to see you there!
