NEW YORK. I’ve been thinking about you for years. You laughed at my timeline and welcomed me back. And wow, what a welcome. Art and reconnection and new friends and seeing myself again when I look in the mirror. I am still a little afraid of you, in a respectful way. I also love you and think you’re very cool. Thank you to everyone who has shown me kindness and generosity since I stepped back into town. There have been a lot of you and it is not lost on me. Just a little update: I am going to be spitting my time this summer between Kingston and the city. Generosity continues! Fireflies and hikes AND slices of pizza on the stoop. Come up and swim with me in rivers and we’ll eat peaches! Let me know if you need plant or dog sitters in the city and let’s see plays! Gunna slow down and build and plan but I’ll be around. Happy Spring and let’s get this summer going!
