I’m grateful (!) to be a 2026 Mycoskie-UC Berkeley Psychedelic Documentary fellow. Big thanks to @scipsychedelics and @michael.pollan for the support of my forthcoming feature doc, “Forever, For Now” @foreverfornowfilm
Jason, a quadriplegic man, is facing immeasurable physical pain and decides to end his life. He uses psilocybin mushrooms to examine his relationship with suffering, to greet divinity, to navigate the transition into death. He discovers a deep joy in being present.
December 2025. I’ve been climbing a mountain. In the heat and in the cold and in the rain and often in the dark. Days and nights in dark rooms with glowing screens with coffee and nuts and oranges and water and ibuprofen.
I’m climbing a mountain and I’m looking up because I can see the peak. And it’s distant but not too far. One more step and one more day. I remind myself to stop, look at the view. There’s a hawk soaring overhead and clouds passing through and a vicious wind that burns my face.
I think I can see the top of the mountain but to me one year ago, I’m at the peak that he looked up to. He had feet too and his ankles were sore and he ate junk and his back hurt and he said that the peak way up there is distant but not too far.
In a year I’ll still be climbing, the views will be different and the peak won’t be too far.
This is WORM LAND. Hoosier farmer Keith Miller spent his life working with the soil, not against it. He believes our future is underground. 🪱 Our labor of love on Keith’s labor and love.
Thanks to @inhumanities for supporting farmers and filmmakers alike.

I nestled into the back of a packed theater at the Toby the final day of Indy Shorts. A wave of heads tipped and bobbed in the light and I was moved by the breadth of films, all sharing Indiana roots.
‘WORM LAND’ and ‘Little Liberty’ both premiered this weekend and thank you thank you for each person who watched and said those kind words. More over, this weekend is further confirmation that all the stories bubbling about have more worthy filmmakers to channel them.
Funny how a little festival can make you feel so small and so significant all at once. Thanks, Indy, for the contradictions. They’re the best part.
