This week is the last chance to apply for the Ronald Corp Choral Scholarship 2026/27. You can find out more (and details of how to apply) via the link in our bio so don't miss out - the deadline is 6pm on Friday 17 April.
Ronald Corp OBE was Musical Director of The London Chorus for thirty years. This Choral Scholarship is established in his memory, continuing Ron's commitment to young musicians by offering aspiring professionals a chance to develop their craft at the heart of one of London’s most established choirs.
The scholarship is open to singers aged 18–30 who are currently or recently in full- or part-time musical education. We are looking for confident, committed musicians who will relish the opportunity to broaden their experience, support fellow singers in their section, and contribute to the life of the choir both in rehearsal and on stage.
We're excited to hear from you!

10 days left to stream this recital with @Willvann —don't let it slip past without having a listen on BBC catch up.
🎶 Here are Will and I rehearsing for the recital in the beautiful LSO St Luke’s, on what Will described as one of the ✨best pianos✨he’s ever had the pleasure of playing. 🎹
We recorded this BBC Radio 3 Lunchtime Concert at LSO St Luke's back in February, and I'm so proud of the programme we put together: Vaughan Williams and the women who inspired him and were influenced by him. Three wonderful composers who were taught by him at the Royal College of Music - Elizabeth Maconchy, Grace Williams and of course my fabourite, Rebecca Clarke- who all spoke so warmly of his encouragement and influence. Also his own settings of two women poets who were very important to him, his niece Fredegond Shove and his beloved wife Ursula Vaughan Williams.
The recital was split over four programmes when it went out on BBC Radio 3. You can catch up on the ‘Classical Live‘ programmes from Monday March 23rd, Tues 24th, Weds 25th and Thurs 26th.
Link in bio to stream.

We're delighted to be receiving applications for The Ronald Corp Choral Scholarship 2026/27. As a reminder, the deadline to apply is 6pm on Friday 17 April.
Ronald Corp OBE was Musical Director of The London Chorus for thirty years. Throughout that time, he was a tireless champion of young singers, nurturing talent, creating opportunities and opening doors to the professional choral world. The Ronald Corp Choral Scholarship is established in his memory, continuing that commitment by offering aspiring professionals a chance to develop their craft at the heart of one of London’s most established choirs.
We will be awarding scholarships to four singers, across a mix of voice parts, who are at an early stage of their professional journey. Scholars will join us for a full concert season, singing alongside our members in rehearsals and performing major choral works at some of London’s finest venues, including the Royal Albert Hall, the Barbican and Cadogan Hall.
Beyond the concert platform, the programme offers a stipend, free music hire and the chance to gain experience in musical leadership, vocal coaching and a diverse repertoire, including works that are rarely performed elsewhere.
The scholarship is open to singers aged 18–30 who are currently or recently in full- or part-time musical education. We are looking for confident, committed musicians who will relish the opportunity to broaden their experience, support fellow singers in their section, and contribute to the life of the choir both in rehearsal and on stage.
If you are building a career in singing and want to perform challenging repertoire in a welcoming and ambitious environment, we would love to hear from you. You can find full details about the scholarships, and our current season, via the link in our bio.
